I've thrashed around for a month and a half to fill a CPAP order placed back in January, it's now April 12th, and after a lot of badgering it's finally in the mail.....although I said I would rather pick it up. Some of the employees have been more than helpful, however, others are not and it appears despite many afternoons of not being available due to "mandatory training" some employees have not learned the value of answering voice mails and keeping clients happy and coming back. read more

I called several weeks ago with general questions about a CPAP machine. I take care of my aunt and she will be seeing a sleep Dr within the next few months to get the process started. I wanted to get ahead of the game. I called ABC to get some general info. The lady I spoke to on the phone was rude and acted like she didn't have time to answer my questions. I commented on how unprofessional she sounded and asked to speak to a manager. She stated she would have someone call me back. Of course, I never received that call. Several days later I called again. I spoke to a gentlemen named Ahmad, who was absolutely wonderful. He was able to answer all of my questions and I didn't even request to speak to a manager at that time because of his exceptional customer service. We will not be going through this company for the CPAP, obviously but I appreciated Ahmad making up for my initial experience. read more

I'm just another person who has had a problem from day one with this company. On week seven trying to get CPAC machine. Countless calls, understanding it's in process, Then I was told they sent a document for me to sign and doc you sign, nothing so far. Hopefully I'll get a CPAC machine before I die! read more

I've have never wished so much that there was a less than 1-star option on Yelp than I do with ABC Health Care. ABC Health Care is the provider of durable medical equipment (DME) for many insurance providers in the Hampton Roads area. I cannot say how awful their services are. 6 days after having surgery my orthopedic surgeon prescribed a few DME items. ABC Health Care is the provider of those items. Today is 6/24/19. I had surgery on 5/23/19 and was prescribed my equipment on 6/29/19. I still do not have my equipment. Nearly 2 weeks ago I was told by Susan at ABC that I'd have my equipment in 1 to 1-1/2 weeks. I had to call again today to find out where my equipment is, and was given the run around ("I need a P.O. number from so-and-so"). I was asked if I wanted a call back. Ya think??? Now the question is will I get a call back. Based on my prior experience, the answer is no. I will have to call multiple times to find out where my equipment is and when it will be delivered. One of the items I was prescribed, a walker, I had to go out and buy myself. I have spent, collectively between my doctor's office, ABC and my insurer, over 8 hours on the phone (tracked on my cell phone). I am now more than 8 weeks out from surgery. Because I lack the necessary equipment, I am unable to get to and from my MRI, doctor and physical therapy appointments. They are slow, lack follow through, don't work well with insurance companies, and just plain awful, unsympathetic and disorganized. I will be letting my insurance company know that I will switch plans if they continue to work with ABC. Good luck with this awful company. read more

AWFUL! Just AWFUL! We had been working with these people 6 flipping months trying to get my mother a scooter so she can join the world. She has Parkinsons, Spinal Stenosis, and rotator cuff tear that they won't do surgery on because she's 85 and not a candidate for any surgery. The 'gentleman' I was working with wanted me to talk to her doctor and tell the doctor what THEY needed to get one approved. He let us go in limbo for MONTHS, even after I called and left messages, or tried to leave messages, but his voice mail was full, with NO HELP. Beware if you're thinking about dealing with this half rate, half wit, no account operation, they are NO help at all and expect the customer to do all the work, so they can make all the money. read more

Had a problem from day one with this company to say I will never use or trust them again, I will not. They lie and do not care about your orders or getting anything out as promised by there staff on time. As I spoke to the management team that was also a joke! because they take up for the staff who is wrong and try to tell you, they have worked there for a long time and they do not act that way, Well, I had the joy of meeting Will here in Fredericksburg to pick-up my husbands cpap machine and there staff in Hampton did not even change the time or notify him of the issue so in turn he took it out on me and let me sit there for 35 minutes and proceed to come out in front of 4 people in the lobby to let me know that his next patient was there so I can just still wait my appt was scheduled for 12 and now its 2:30 not a happy person he was the rudest and most non concerned for the client and the money I spent purchasing the machine out of pocket that I have ever encounted with any healthcare needs do not recommend this company at all. Now I know why they are merging and becoming Apric read more

I am a cpap client. My first order was total quality materials by ResMed. I have discovered that ABC has substituted less quality parts without telling me; I assume to boost profit margin in a clandestine manner. When I have questions, staff becomes politicians to not answer questions. One staff member is just rude. read more

The most incompetent business I have ever been forced to deal with. To get my new BIPAP machine, I had to sign a one year supply agreement. They have fail to get one supply order right. People are nice but management obviously has no system in place in the warehouse to check outgoing orders. My contract is up and I am eagerly finding another source for my supplies. read more

I've been trying to replenish my CPAP supplies since April 2018. I usually order them online, but after a few weeks of not receiving them I called and a person told me they were "working on it". Still no supplies nor a return phone call. It is now May. Their office is 10 mins from my house and when I went there personally, they informed me my prescription had expired in Mar! I made an appointment with my doc for the end of June (earliest avail) and they faxed the presrciption to ABC the same day. After 2 weeks, I called and they stated it would take 10-14 days to process it and they had to put the prescription in the "system". 1 week later, I called and was informed I was at my "10th day and it should be another few days". I received an automatic call at home asking me to confirm my supply order and I stated yes - it is now July 18/20?.... After returing from vacation (7/30) I received a letter stating they had difficulty in contacting me via phone to send out my supplies... I immediately called and all the staff in the sleep division were in trianing - for a few days....I finally got in contact with someone, who stated everything was ready to go, but they needed a prescription from my doctor. UGGGGHHHH !!!!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS COMPANY????? My physician's office faxed this AGAIN. At my next visit with my doctor, I will definitely change companies...Oh, it is now 8/3 and I have yet to receive my supplies - it will be shipped out today and arrive 2 - 3 business days..... read more
