I arrived in town only two days ahead of the of the memorial with very little idea as to what exactly I wanted when it came to the flowers. The ladies at the shop were very friendly and took the time to help me figure out exactly what I would like. They had book on hand of examples of their previous work for me to flip through, and then helped me work out the colors and styles of arrangements I was wanting. I was even able to bring my own vases for them to arrange the flowers into (plus some very non-traditional vessels), and they arranged delivery for everything - all at a very reasonable price. The arrangements turned out wonderfully, I could not have been happier with the results. The house smelled fantastic, and the lovely fall colors and jewel tones were beautiful. All of the pieces were cohesive and skillfully designed. The memorial would not have been the same without their beautiful work. Flowers aside, the women at the shop were so endlessly kind and accommodating. I was fully expecting to be turned down since they were busy and I gave them such short notice, but they went out of their way to take care of everything, going as far as to give me a personal cell phone number in case I needed anything after hours. I cannot express enough gratitude to Twigs and Twine, they really treated me like family and brought a lot of joy to our memorial weekend. I would recommend them to anyone.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would! Had an appointment to discuss wedding flowers…read more& I ended up walking out less than 10 minutes into the meeting. The first photo inspiration I showed the lady, she said what I wanted wasn't possible. I questioned her about it because I personally knew how to do it & other florists I'd spoken with had no issues, but she obviously didn't want to hear any of it. Moved on to discuss the bouquet & she stopped me & said "You can request whatever you want but what flowers my vendors send me is out of my control. I can't guarantee you'll get anything you want." Basically trying to say I can pay her to do my wedding flowers but it'll be a mystery & what I get is what I get so be happy. I was SHOCKED considering all the flowers I was asking for would be in-season at that time of year... At that point I ended the meeting, saying I appreciate her time but this obviously isn't going to be a good fit. As I'm walking out she tells me it doesn't matter which florist I end up choosing because she knows them all & who their vendors are & everyone is going to tell me the same thing she did, "just so you know". I've used many florists over the years for various events & I've NEVER been treated this way. If she didn't want to do the event, for whatever reason, she should have been honest & said so & not wasted my time. I ended up going with a florist out of Hickory who is more than excited to hear my ideas & help make my dream wedding a reality.
