A boudoir session is a very personal experience for the person being photographed and Emily does not take that lightly. Her guidance with posing and constant " hype you up" encouragement throughout the session really does boost confidence and makes you feel beautiful. Bride and Groom beware. I hired Katie last year for my wedding and my gut instinct after I met with…read moreher said keep looking but I was pressed for time and she lied to get our business. Katie claims to be a professional full-time photographer, this is not true, she works for a wedding venue in Mandeville full time, her photography experience is highly exaggerated. Because we have friends and family all over, some were even out of country at the time of our wedding, we requested that Katie do a Live stream of the ceremony. She stated that would be no problem and that she had a great videographer. That "videographer ended up being her husband who is not a professional videographer by any means. We did a contract and paid an extra $500 for the livestream. In short, the livestream never happened. I had dozens of people contacting her the day of the event via email and text after they set aside time and adjusted schedules to attend virtually as planned. Katie had months of time to prepare but did not. I provided her the information for the venue and the venue director and she never went there prior to the date of the event or even contacted Danielle, the event coordinator, to set up and test the livestream. In the video we saw (we have no usable video of our wedding now) it showed our backs in front of the pastor and Katie right behind him, you see the backs of people attending the weddings heads bobbing all over, you cant hear anything on the audio and you never see us come down the aisle. Needless to say, it would have been a better video if one of my friends had just recorded it with an iPhone. As a courtesy, I even paid an extra $200 for Katie and her husband to have dinner while working at my wedding. How was I treated in return? When I texted, called, and emailed Katie to address the video and the fact the livestream did not work even though we paid for it, she ghosted me. She had also promised the pictures within 2-3 weeks of the event, but it was 5 weeks before I received anything and when I did, the pictures were awful. My husband is 6'2 and I am 5'10, but taller with heels on. We both work out and are athletic-not small people. A common rule of professional photography is never shoot from down low because it is the most unflattering angle possible. Katie is 4'10 which, when we met, made me apprehensive to choose her. However, she advised that she wears big shoes and climbs up on ladders to get better shots. She did wear big shoes on the day, but she couldn't walk well in them and she stepped all over my dress before the wedding leaving black marks all over it. She did not use a ladder or shoot from up high, she kept kneeling and shooting from down low which is a rookie mistake and shows her lack of experience. Just so people know, I have a lot of experience with professional photographers since I had modeled for years worked with dozens of photographers. So, when I say I understand angles and what she should have done and not done, I really do. She also claims she "preselected areas" to take pictures, which is highly unlikely since she never went to the venue prior. She had us walking outside in 90 degrees with full makeup on, tuxedo and dress, outside in the alleys, down dirty service hallways, and all over the place prior to the wedding to do pictures. After my experience, I would recommend any other photographer but her. I am also filing against her in small claims court for violation of her own contract and ghosting me when I attempted to address it. If I can, I will attach a copy of the judgement once it is done.

If I could give this business less than 1 star, I would. I hired Kristi for officiant and…read morecoordinating services for our May 2026 wedding. We had a VERY small wedding of 23 people but I thought it would be helpful to have an extra hand to keep track of time and set up my decor so my family and I could be in the moment and enjoy the day. In the months prior, I corresponded with one of Kristi's employees, Katherine. I thought we had a good working relationship and we were all set for the big day. The day of, Katherine surprised me with the new responsibility of finding someone to transport my ONE medium sized box and wedding sign to the ceremony and reception site that were five minutes from my hotel. They had a car but refused to take my things even though the scope of practice document outlined that they were responsible for transporting decor to the site. The ceremony setup was a nightmare. Katherine kept the rain plan tents even though it was sunny and beautiful out. The chairs were set up flat and 2 in a row, even though my seating chart had them angled and four in a row. Katherine never sent me a picture of the site for accuracy so the first time I saw it I was walking down the aisle. They also forgot items and only halfway set up our easel for our sign. For the ceremony, we had agreed the officiant would walk out with my husband. We were confused to see her standing at the altar before the ceremony started so we asked Katherine if we were ready to begin. She replied with "It's kind of just whenever" and proceeded to not cue when to walk down the aisle. She refused to help fluff out my dress and fix my veil (MOH had to jump out of lineup). These responsibilites were all in the scope of practice document. At the reception, she was mostly absent. My husband and I asked for chairs at the cocktail hour as everyone else had chairs at low tables except us. She said that the venue couldn't bring us any (we found out later from the venue that she never asked). That was the last time I really saw her at the reception. She sat in the back room for almost an hour and a half and did not cue speeches, cake cutting, or even check in with us. There are multiple other ways she did not fulfill her contract that wont fit in the review. My MOH reached out the day after while I was on my honeymoon with all of these concerns. It took THREE WEEKS to even get a response. Their response was filled with falsities and accusations. Kristi claimed we had "surprise locations and responsibilities," and I was accused of not being communicative, even though I pointed out multiple times where this was all false. I combed through all my documents and emails where Katherine acted differently than the agreed upon timeline and responsibilities. I even contacted other vendors to get a full picture of the story. Kristi falsely accused my MOH of being the planner and tried to pin responsibility on her. She blamed the "tight timeline" for things that were just flat out not done. If it was so tight, why did the coordinator disappear for 90 minutes? They stated that they needed more money and extra people to complete my 23 person wedding with one box of decor. Luckily my other vendors stepped in where they failed so the day wasn't a disaster. I am sure they will respond to this review with more nonsensical excuses. Please, save your money or take your business elsewhere. I have worked in the wedding industry before and never witnessed this level of embarrassing incompetence.
