Abbey Stores is a mecca for fine food, beer, cider and wine. There is nowhere else in Salisbury, or even in the area, quite like it. The wonderful thing about the shop, apart from their carefully chosen stock, is the knowledge of the staff. You can ask them about what they sell, and they will be able to answer your questions. A lovely little shop with everything you could hope to need in a local convenience store. The friendly staff are always willing to help and the focus of the store appears to be on high quality locally sourced products. They have a fine selection of bottled real ales as well as continental lagers. You should expect to pay more than a supermarket but that should be expected because of the convenience and the quality. read more
