The church building is owned by another French speaking church, and Westlake rents the space to use. Service is held every Sunday evening at 5:00pm. It is truly an interdenominational church, as we have found the people are from all different countries and church backgrounds (catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc). They have a strong youth program, and many groups to get involved in, and several strong home bible study groups to choose from. We also found the people here to be genuinely friendly and caring. There is a sister Church to Westlake Nyon located in Lausanne. Tip the address for the church offices is correctly indicated in the Yelp business info for Westlake. The church office is in a separate building from where the Church meets on Sunday evening. I would highly suggest doing this because I do have some FOMO for not being able to go. The basilica itself it utterly gorgeous. There are so many things to look at inside. The stained glass and the carvings, I could stare at for hours. The area to the left (facing the church) has the incredible sweeping vista of the city of Lyon and a few places to grab a snack. This is also where the restrooms are if you need them. Seriously though, the views are worth coming up the hill, even if you're not a "church person."

It's a historic building full of friendly people, is open-minded and accepting, and offers lots of opportunities for socialisation and events. The music during the 1030 service is the best in Geneva, and the Rector and Deacon genuinely care about the parishioners. If you want to experience true Christian hospitality, this is the place!

The building composition has middle tower near alter and 4 tower at each corner to raise the roof. The front is not like typical two tower church. It is flat gothic wall with about 90 feet tall. It has two row of pillars which is unique from other church. The floor plan just like Latin cross. It is typical Roman church layout. The interior has a lot of tinted windows with stain glass. Each glass window has story to tell. Above the front entrance is the organ pipe. Each cross hallway has round stains glass window. There are multiple rounds columns support the worship sanctuary. The visit take only half hour. The entrance is at the west side.
