I have been very pleased with the customer service and bioidentical hormone therapy suggested by the staff at AB Hormone Therapy. They require blood work every 6 months to monitor hormone levels. Once per year, the blood testing is more extensive and looks at hormone, Vitamin D, cholesterol, etc levels. The hormone therapy is also reasonably priced compared to other practices. I've been a patient for maybe 10-12 years of Dr Uribe and subsequently AB Hormone Clinic. I've never actually seen the PAs in person who do the phone consultations with me. I could go into the office if I so chose. I am 100% satisfied with the phone consultations. I use the recommended vitamins and supplements which are based off my own blood lab results. The labs are covered by my medical Insurance. The prescriptions for the recommended hormones are also covered. The only out of pocket cost is the consultation and supplements. You aren't required to buy from ABH. (I buy my supplements from a quality mom n pop health and wellness store) Improvement of my libido that was in the toilet when I began (I'm almost 64 now) my weight gain and hair loss that I was experiencing had me a little depressed back then. I could not be more satisfied with the change In me. I'm much happier and healthier and sexier than when I started. Very personable staff, had a lengthy consult with the PA who was very cordial and generous with her time. After reviewing my blood work it was simply a hard push to buy multiple expensive supplements, which I did, in a good faith costly effort on my part to alleviate my fatigue, thinning hair, and battle with weight gain. So I followed their costly supplement regimen, bought their recommended, prescribed hormone therapy, cremes, and pills. After 3 months of expensive supplements, a very expensive initial consultation with a Physician's Assistant- not even a doctor, nothing improved! Total waste of money and time. Do your own research, buy your own supplements, and see your actual doctor. Very dissatisfied and disappointed and it was a very costly expense with little to no positive results.
