The biggest con was the cost, but I thought if it works it will be worth it. I chose to go to Elysian and have had 6 treatments with amazing results. I have another appointment scheduled, but it is basically for touch up before I go on vacation. I have had treatments done by Julie and Rhonda and they are awesome! Very professional and skilled. If you plan to have laser hair removal done, I highly recommend this spa. Go in for a consultation and they can evaluate your condition and estimate # of treatments. One thing that I advise before you commit is to make sure you will have the funds to follow the appropriate treatment schedule. When I first started I would tell them I would call for my next appointment. After being 1-2 weeks late for treatments and noticing that I was not getting the desired results, I started to have Kayla (she is awesome too) to schedule my next appointment before I would leave the spa. This kept me on track and the results were GREAT! Listen to all of their advise and you will see results. This is the first vacation that I am taking since completing the treatments and I will not be worried if I forget my razor. WoooooHooooooo!

Embarrassing post but it needs to be said In July I decided to try to get rid of some of the aging on my face by visiting a very popular business located in Middlesboro KY. They offer a lot of beauty services and claim to "make beauty affordable". I visited this business on July 9th with a friend. I opted for full face tox and filler in my lips. I took before pics sitting in their lobby. The receptionist put numbing cream on my lips while I sat in the lobby which seemed kind of strange and I was embarrassed but I figure I won't see most these people ever again. I took a pic of me with the cream on and sent it to my daughter to express my excitement not to have "chicken lips" to try to lighten the feeling of embarrassment. Anyhow. The injector was full of energy and bubbly which made you feel invited and excited to be there. I was done within a couple mins and sat there while a friend of mine had her services done. I was provided with a lot number when I left. But no care instructions. I noticed at 5 my lips felt weird but no change. By 8 pm my lips were super swollen and painful, by 10 it was worse. I took pictures and told my friend my lips hurt and I didn't feel it was normal. The entire next day they throbbed and were painful. However, I ended up having zero lasting results from the face tox and lip filler. Figuring it was just my body I decided to go back and get a touch up (which is free with a full face tox) On July 30th I went back. The injector decided I need filler in my face and said "I'll hook you up sis" I felt a lot of pressure during the injection but I again was super excited to have a younger looking face. By the time I got home, which is a 2 hour drive I felt my forehead was full, and tight and it was painful. All night it throbbed and woke me up several times. I took ibuprofen and tried to sleep. The next morning I was due to take a 6 hour road trip to attend my nieces wedding. I woke up and saw my face and instantly cried. My eleven line area was protruding, bruised and very painful. I immediately contacted the business. She said it was drawing a lot of fluid, which is "normal" but she could dissolve it. I had to make the 2 hour drive again. Not to mention how far out of the way it was for my planned road trip. I was taken straight back when I arrived, and she dissolved some of the filler. She did state during dissolving that she "changed to a new filler and is thinking it may be stronger" For days after I was bruised and swollen. After seeing a lot of drama and accusations against the injector being posted by her, on her own page I decided to reach out to her and request a refund. I had paid for my services and my friends. The business refunded for my services only. I did say I would not post negatively but I am posting this. You can decide if it's negative or not. I'm concerned about what products were put into my face and body. The injector has a fantastic personality and a huge following but after several posts that seem familiar to my story or to my friend's story I felt it was important to share mine. Every time someone posts about their experience if it wasn't 100% positive she posts it so her following can absolutely rip it apart even if there's proof, evidence etc. Her license is currently suspended for several complaints, several which include proof and medical records. This isn't just drama and rumors or "false claims" as is always stated by the business. The scariest part of all of this is the unknown. Not knowing if the products used are legal or safe and what side effects it could have or did have. And the fact that every single negative review vanishes. For now? I'll just stick with my old, creased face instead of possible unknown injections being put in to my face or the faces of people I love.

The staff were all so kind and helpful. While I was waiting for my appointment, one of the women showed me these awesome products they carry that are not only makeup, but sunscreen as well. Essentially, I could go to the beach with a full face of makeup and not smell like traditional sunscreen or look greasy. I love that. The walls of this place are decorated with gorgeous art and in some of the rooms you can see the original brick walls of the building showing. The Diamond Glow treatment itself was not painful at all, but gave me the result of cleaned out pores. The suction takes out all the gook and replaces it with the serum of your skin professional's choosing (my serum was a hydrating one). The entire treatment was short enough to fall in my lunch hour, and was non abrasive enough for me to walk out and show the world my cleaned face. This is truly a luxury experience. Anything you want, coffee, tea, water, a more youthful complexion, can all be given to you here. I will definitely be back for more sessions.
