Come to find out that Mike is the stores owner, and we spent at least 15 minutes, maybe more, talking. Come to find out that he has family in Southern California where I reside. Never less, I purchased the credenza thru Express Furniture, and Mike guaranteed me that it would be properly protected for shipment, which was reassuring after reading about other reviews on the woes of shipping furniture. Mike even sent me the assembly instructions in advance, so I knew what needed to get me prepared. I am a small business owner, such as Mike at Express Furniture is. Most of the products they sell are made in the USA. The service here is simply spectacular. If I went looking for something to complain about I don't think I could find anything. Many other retailers, including big box stores and Amazon carry a select few of the same products, but provide a fraction of the service for a higher price. I found the perfect one and he got me all set up for delivery the next day. The ydelivered as promise, but my new refrigerator was too wide and woudl not fit, ugh. The store was so helpful. I got on the phine right away with Jose. He never gave up, he searched and serached and to my wonder, he found the EXACT same refrigerator in thesmallr size I needed. Not only did h find it at anoter store, he worked with the other store to get this one delviered on thesame day. The new delivery arrived, the 2 men removed the old fridge and hooked up my new one. The lady manager with no teeth thought it was appropriate to approach a four year old child in a very nasty manner accusing her of something she did not do. So she the start to follow me through the store yelling because I walked away from her. So I told her " get the hell away from me". Really great little antique shop just around the corner from home. Dangerously close, even! The shopkeepers are super friendly and include a black cat that is so chill and hangs around the shop unbothered while you hunt for finds. There is a good box-full of postcards, which is my primary target in antique stores, along with stationery in general - that includes some old fountain pens. Posters, advertisements, viewfinder cards. There's a lot of furniture set-up throughout. Old books and toys. A Rock-Ola Cafe jukebox. One of the shopkeepers has a keen interest in plants and builds his own terrariums which are also on display throughout the store. From outside, I won't lie, the place looks a tad unapproachable. But rest assured, once inside you will be pleasantly surprised. Prices seem a bit on the high side, although for the postcards they were just to my liking. At least one owner seemed willing to haggle a bit and offer bulk deals. He mentioned future plans for having a stall style set-up with vendor booths in the back part of the building. We were greeted and asked to play a game for Black Friday. We just had to delect a ball from a can. We picked a ball to receive 25% off our order. However, we informed our sales associate, Maryonna, that we were only looking because we were closing on a house and couldn't buy at the time. After walking around for some time, we found our desired bedroom set and our sons. Maryonnna, checked in on us from time to time to give us insight and answer questions. Once we were finished, we told her we would return after our home purchase. She volunteered to write up our totals and send it to us via text, which she did as well as all questions here and there. Fast forward to yesterday. We closed!!! So, as promised, we returned to the store and found Maryonna. They have a Keurig so my husband and I both got coffee...because we thought we were in for a long, hard process. However, Maryonna let us walk around a bit to look at the showroom. She was available to answer all questions that we had. Once we settled on the pieces, she worked with Laura at ther front desk to get our numbers and paper work together. Laura was super awesome too. I had to bug her for a stirrer for my coffee and she found me a new straw from her drawer. The both of them worked together to get our order processed. We later wanted to pay for our sons bed seperate and they were both patient with changing the paperwork. We were in there for a few hours and even a little after close and they were very nice, didn't rush us and helped us thru the whole process. We actually got a few wall decorations and a lamp that we took home and Maryonna wrapped them up really good. The experience was so great that we ended up getting more pieces than planned. In total, we furnished our bedroom, our sons bed room and the dining room. Overall, great experience!! Maryonna was fabulous and took care of us and Laura was wonderful working with too processing all the paperwork, payments and explanations. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to them. My mom is building a house and will be going to them!!!

She came across as extremely stuck-up and acted as though my question was an inconvenience rather than simply trying to help. The entire interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant and left a very bad impression. Based on my experience, I definitely would not recommend working with Lindsay.
