Michigan Fire Claims Inc 248-613-2500…read more Hiring Nik Kalaj from Michigan Fire Claims Inc was the best decision I made after my home caught on fire, located in Westland, MI. Nik and his team of experts, Mike and Cori, have proven to have decades of expertise and sharp policy analysis leading them to uncover critical options my insurance carrier failed to disclose, and their support saved me a lot of money. They are very polite, respectful, and incredibly patient with clients while navigating complex residential fire claims in the State of Michigan. I highly recommend anyone who unfortunately had a house fire to reach out to Nik and his team for their expertise. Tony M

They work hard and fast to get you the best claim settlement. I loved my insurance company and never had an issue... until my first major claim. It was a nightmare that dragged on and on. I was lucky enough to have a casual acquaintance refer me to Tom at MI Fire Claims. Tom, Dom, and Gary are great guys who I felt really cared about helping me get a fair settlement from the insurance company. They were able to double the settlement my insurance company initially offered me, well worth the 10% fee they collect from the total award. Can't say enough good things about them.

I made the mistake of blindly choosing an insurance agent this way assuming they would all be the same. A mistake. I went to his office to consult with him because I hate conducting business like this over the phone. While waiting in his grungy uncomfortable office i started thinking the place could really use a good cleaning, there was a spider web on the chair next to mine and dust bunnies everywhere. I was 15 mins early for the appointment and waited over 35 mins past the start time. Total time of 50mins waiting and I could see straight into his office where he was eating an early lunch at 11:00am by himself and texting or playing on his phone the whole time (not talking on it). I was about to leave when the receptionist, bless her heart went and "reminded" him I was waiting. She lead me to his door and the first thing he did was introduce himself, ask my name, and ask what I was there for(no apology for the wait). When I told him I was first looking to clear up some questions I had about different kinds of policies, he stopped me and told me "Im really sorry I dont have a lot of time right now, I have a meeting out of office and need to get going here shortly. I could leave you with one of my associates to answer your questions or point you to some good information online before I leave." He said this as if we did not have an appointment and I had just walked in off the streets. Im a rather passive person so I told him I would just look it up online and left. I have never been so offended by a business owner in my life. I guess Rick Young wants you to do all the work yourself so he can just collect the commission. I do owe thanks to Rick though because without him I would never have found my new agent who is amazing. Maybe this was a fluke (doubt it) but I could never recommend this business to anyone. Ever.
