My go-to place when craving for a Dosa in west Berlin. I strongly recommend the Masala Dosa as well…read moreas the Rava Masala Dosa.

Best Indian food, ever…read more Restaurant is very nice and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. They were attentive and helpful and always on point. Lentil donut appetizer tasted super savory with a distinct donut flavor and a hearty, but light filling. The bean paste on the side added a mild tang to the mix. I was super surprised by how good this was. Absolutely a must try. Mango Chicken was sweet, fresh, and thick in it's flavors. It even had fresh mango in it! Easily the best dish of everything we had. Butter chicken was light and the broth was runnier than most I've had. It had a very unique tang to it and was delicious, but didn't quite give me the same sense of awe as the mango chicken. The garlic naan was super thin and crispy, not tearable. It had a robust garlic flavor and was a nice addition to our curries. I would've preferred tearable, thicker naan, but it still was good. We also had a mango lassi that is a must have whenever you get Indian food. It's basically mango yogurt as a drink and it's a great pallette cleanser and way to reduce spice levels in your mouth. Overall this was the best Indian food I've ever had. I'm sad it's in Berlin and not where I'm from. It's going to spoil my idea of what Indian food should taste like in America.

Finally, I have discovered a decent Indian restaurant in my neighborhood. I have to travel to…read moreWedding, Prenzlauer Berg and other Kiez to satisfy my weekly cravings. But this place is nice and affordable. Supposedly I has been here for many years and is a well established place. Decor: Nice, warm colors, comfortable and an exotic atmosphere. I felt instantly drawn to the place, as I saw the giant "Om" symbol () painted on the wall. (This is certainly a personal choice and liking.) The place must have been renovated recently as it looks nice and clean. Tables are clean and there is plenty of space in between chairs. It appears that in the summer one can sit outside under the nicely lit awning. Staff: Super friendly, happy owners (or workers). They greeted me friendly, were very attentive, kind and respectful. Food: They have a large selection on your traditional Indian foods, the menu is very clear and easy to read. Prices are very fair and portions are big. The great thing is that you are served pieces of a type of Bathura bread for free. My food was great. I always ask for spicy and they told me they can make any dish spicy. And they did! Loved the spice. Drinks: They have also alcoholic beverages. All in all, this package fits! And I will be coming back over and over and over again.

Besides that it's really nice to have an Indian restaurant close by, it's also very cheap. For example I ordered my favorite Indian dish - Malai Kofta for 6.5 Euros. The service on the day we went there was a bit slow, since they had a very big group that ordered at the exact same time like us, and there was only one waiter working there. The food is just amazing! it's the first time I tasted Malai Kofta with pineapple in the sauce, and it's really good! I highly recommend this little awesome place!
