From the time we went to the store on 28th St. to look at possible options, to the selection process, to the purchasing process, and most importantly, the communication and delivery process were all first class. Such a pleasure to do business with a company that stays in constant touch and explains everything AND does what they say they will do. The morning of delivery, we got several texts explaining that the truck was on its way. The day before we were sent emails indicating a basic timeframe for the delivery. The next day, everything went smoothly. I don't think we have had a better retail experience.

Scheduled the delivery 2 weeks from purchase, understandable, didn't follow the nearest crossroad that we told them, took a wrong drive, got stuck in a 2track within quarter mile, would not allow alternative / correct route same day & pushed delivery out 11 more days. Terrible when you've removed all furniture from your living room. Told by customer service it would be expedited and then they tell us delivery 11 days out.

I am so happy that I chose this local business over a chain mattress store. From beginning to end,…read morethey impressed my with their knowledge and helpfulness. The man that helped us choose the mattress clearly had years of experience helping people find the right mattress for their needs. He took the time to explain how they were made and what looked like it would be the best for me. The delivery men took the time to walk me through how to improve our current frame. He even drew a diagram and filmed a video so my husband would know how to fix the frame. I could not be happier with my decision to go with Buis Mattress.

He was super friendly, honest, was there when we needed him and gave us space when we needed to think about things. We set up a delivery and the gentlemen who came were Zeke and Carlos. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

A place that…read morecannot put prices on their website, trying to pressure me to call is about all I need to see. They may be great, but I don't need to be told to call and jump thru the hoops of some salesperson just to get a price. I am already considering over an hour drive to go get a recliner. I would like to have more than just a catalog picture. Price as well as what fabric options before I burn a tank of gas to get there. Now they may have a wonderful staff and service. I do not know yet. The website and it's lack of information on the pieces I was interested in and the "call for best price" and "request more information" forms to be emailed what I need to know (and giving them my email address in the process) was enough to put me off. Until that changes, I will look elsewhere.

I've been looking for a new mattress for a few months, using Mattress Firm to kind of start my…read moresearch but originally ended up buying a box mattress because I liked the free shipping and free return policy, plus it had a 365-trial period! Unfortunately, that first mattress was not the best and I felt like I was sinking into the bed and opted to get another box mattress with the recommendations from various friends, and finding that mattress way too stiff. Finally, I decided to go back to Mattress Firm and try various mattresses! The Knapp store I originally tried was much much larger and more spacious than the East location, but they still had a lot of variety. I probably laid on 3-4 types, with the help from the sales associate, I found myself being much more aware of how much shoulders and hips hit on the mattress. I thought I was more of a medium-firm person, but come to find out, the mattress I liked the best was considered a plush pillow-top! Gregory was very knowledgeable and provided guidance on the bed needed, walked me through a couple beds and their various price points and even educated me on the adjustable bed frames! Ultimately, I decided to just purchase the mattress and before I decided, I probably laid on the bed for a good 10 minutes, playing on my phone, moving around (with my boyfriend taking a cat nap) to see how we both liked the mattress. The check out process did take quite a bit longer than I anticipated (probably closer to 30 minutes than what I thought would only be 15), due to availability of the mattress and delivery windows. The value was fair, and I got $500 off with their discounts and coupons, but they do charge a $99 delivery fee for in room delivery and a $200 return window and restocking fee. So I'm hopeful that I do not need to return it or exchange. But I do recommend them, mattress shopping is stressful and they did a great job educating me!

A totally satisfying experience! Jon C.
