I can't say enough good things about the college hunks moving company because they exceeded my…read moreexpectations and I had one of my greatest moving experiences with their team. My leasing office from my former apartment, referred them to me so I didn't have to go through several companies to find the right one. I was immediately contacted by text and phone and email For my quote and moving needs by Cornell. During the initial walk-through and my special request, Cornell was able to give me a quote and ensure all of my moving needs would be met by his team and the time date and location was no problem. I have a few challenges so I was able to do the best I could with packing and arranging my stuff so the movers could easily take boxes in furniture out of my house. But even through my exhaustion, they insisted on taking care of everything and let me rest. From the moment they arrived they were pure gentlemen, very energetic and professional. They even helped me with little things that I found last minute before leaving the apartment. They never slacked off, I offered them refreshments. I'm not sure if they took a break even though I offered, they were just determined and very skilled You could tell at moving when we arrived at my apartment. I let them in while I went to the office to finish my move-in process by the time I got back they had already unloaded the truck and filled my home putting everything where I asked. And still, they were very professional and I know they were retired, but Their energy patience and professionalism just gives Goldstar customer service reviews from me. Don't let the name fool you I was under the impression they'd be college kids, but it is a team of professional men with great energy, and A and very positive attitude. I highly recommend you use their services forany of your needs. Check their website they offer more than just moving. My team consisted of Cornell, James, and Jerry. They helped me say goodbye to the old and hello to my new home and new start. A great positive experience. I hope you will consider from this review.

Told me he could give me an additional discount if I completed payment. He had been so responsive I paid the remaining balance. Day of move they did not call during the window to let me know they were coming and DID NOT SHOW - although I had called and left multiple messages. After this negative review posted (day of scheduled move) I heard from David almost immediately demanding I take down my review or he would not do the job. He said driver got delayed and my phone number showed as potential spam. Whether it did or didn't, I left him several voicemails with my name/number. No call was unacceptable. Plus he had called me on this same number at least three times prior to move date. I cancelled the job with him and fortunately found a same day mover that could help move the few large items we couldn't lift. I also received a call from David's third - party vendor contracted to do my move. He explained that he had a flat tire and was on his way but it would take 2.5 hours to arrive. I let him know I cancelled with David due to lack of communication and being on a tight time constraint to turn in keys. I encouraged both vendors to communicate and respond in real time to avoid this in the future. UPDATE: Later that same day I received a nice, professionally written, message from Jennifer with the company. She apologized and let me know a refund would be initiated but could take up to 14 days. I told her I would update my review once I saw the refund came through. As of today I have received 1 of the 2 refunds for the total amount (they were on different cards) and she verified both were initiated. While my experience with this company was not good, I do appreciate Jennifer's response and following through on my refund so I increased my rating from 1 to 2 stars. I do hope the best for this business but there are improvements needed.
