Men on the Run might be more appropriate for this fraudulent failure of a company. Promised refunds, delays, now voicemail not set up and calls not answered, nor texts or emails. Don't trust Lonnie or Mandela! The check and refund were getting mailed when back in town, then after a few weeks, delayed because owner had covid, then was paying by Zelle, then he mailed an imaginary check that never arrived, nor could he provide the mailing date or check number, and then has disappeared.
Why risk it? Caution if you don't want your belonging ruined, dishonest billing and practices and padding the invoice, run! This was the worst, most stressful move and waste of money.
I have the pictures, emails and text messages to do confirm these claims which is why I'll be filing shortly in small claims court for the reckless damages to belonging and missing components.
I had to have the bill originally adjusted due to dishonest and fraudulent billing. The truck suddenly left before the move was complete without full notification or documentation, with alternating claims that they knew it wouldn't fit in the storage unit or the rain was too severe. Then they contacted me from the storage unit and claimed there was no sense unloading the truck, that the contents wouldn't fit, that I needed to get an additional or larger unit, which I did, but they would charge for an overnight truck fee.
I contacted the storage facility who had observed these novices and said the contents of a truck that size would easily fit. I had to pay for a second trip to the original location which only took about 20 minutes to load and could have fit in the previous nights load. Additionally, they took 40 minutes attempting to get a pieces of furniture out of a bedroom, scratching the walls and the furniture. Then they wrapped and tried to force a theatre recliner through the door and damaged it when I told them the back had to removed first. No longer works.
When we went to unload the storage unit it was only 2/3 full and poorly stacked. Broken recliner, broken glass on artwork, damaged bronze statue, missing parts to bed frames, major scratches on furniture and missing boxes.
Have made every attempt to resolve. I hope you make a better choice than I did!Po read more
