The only reason why I went inside was I forgot to add an extra passport photo. But I was surprised how large this place is considering that mostly everything is usually done online. which you can tell due to the lack of visitors that come to the office When I arrived. I had an appointment and I got there right at 8:30 but I was still made to sit in the lobby for five minutes and then I was called by another person that wasn't the person that I was on the phone with. I am planning to go to Japan and I wanted to do the Mario kart around Tokyo, but you need an international drivers license and AAA is a company that does it for you before you leave the United States . I end up getting a membership for the whole year. It was five dollars and I'll see if it's worth it or not. I'm getting the international drivers license was worth it, but I am unsure of what other discounts you can get. read more

I have been a member of AAA for 35 years. Last night my sister had to call AAA because her truck was in a ditch (accident). She had just left the baseball field after watching a high school game. She called AAA at 8:30pm and called me at 9:10pm to inform me. She called me again at 10:40pm, she had not heard from AAA or a tow driver. I made a call to AAA and was told they had no idea when a driver would be dispatched. At 11:30pm she called me and stated she had called AAA again, after no response from them and was informed it could be another 3 hours (2:30am) before anyone arrived to help. She made the decision to call someone else and was on her way home at 12:30. When I joined AAA, their service was outstanding, but I would not recommend AAA any longer. Response time is ridiculous and you get the same old "I'm sorry for the inconvenience", but no help. PLEASE find another roadside assistance company! (Spoke with AAA this morning, the lady on the phone was very sympathetic and offered me a $40.00 credit, doesn't seem equal to the stress this problem created.) read more

I used these folks for years for my auto insurance in PA and now for over four years in Florida. I am ashamed to say I kept putting off shopping my condo insurance which was with another carrier. I knew damn well I would get discounts if I had both with the same carrier, but I was lazy. Maybe I should turn in my MENSA membership card! Finally, I got off my butt and visited my AAA agent, the always awesome Grace Willis. She is unfailingly friendly, competent and professional. She asked all the right questions and of course input everything into her computer. I'll never forget her line. "Steve, this might be somewhat advantageous for you." Advantageous my ass! The combined policies saved me over $1000 a year for better coverage. That's right, 1k a year less for the total of both policies! You should have seen me do the happy dance. What a joke. Car needs a tow, quoted a time, several hours. No one shows, call back 3 more times. No one knows what's going on. Ended up just limping home at 45 mph. So much for having AAA Plus. Dropped. I No longer desire to throw money away on a useless service. read more

UPDATE TO EARLIER REVIEW: I reached out to my local AAA Office and spoke to our contact there and explained the above. She was very apologetic and stated that they had a customer the same day I called who had a similar experience with only a 2 1/2 wait for a tow. She asked if I was indeed going to cancel my membership ( as I had emailed her my communications with AAA Roadside Assistance as well as my review) and I told her that if I did not get the following year membership fee waived that it was my intention to cancel. She put in a request to her Manager and yesterday I received my bill for 2025 and the additional reward dollars needed to cover my annual renewal were deposited and my 2025 balance due was $0! Thank you to my representative for pushing my rope up the corporate hill and getting someone to understand that my experience with Roadside Assistance on Oct 15 was abysmal! On the bright side, I was traveling with my neighbor and friend whose car broke down about two miles from our house and I only waited 45 minutes to get us towed home! Much improved experience EXCEPT the automated reply to my call to Roadside Assistance was slow as responses were not understood by automated system resulting in three separate calls to get a LIVE person on the phone to put in my request! read more

I've been a member since 2016 and was told that both my ex and I are banned from renewing because we had TOO MANY TOWS!!! When asked how that is possible it was explained that I took away from new members that may have needed tows at that moment? WHAT????!!!!! So I can pay to BE A MEMEBER but when as a member I NEED the benefits I am getting punished???? My deceased step father started me out with THIS membership and NOW I am banned from renewing? Terrible customer service. Will not return calls or emails. All I wanted was one agent whom I could call on for service. They will not do that. I am moving my auto's, Umbrella, and Flood policies to Nationwide. I might pay a bit more, but it is well worth it for good service. AAA website = garbage. read more

Very Bad! The worst service for getting road side assistance. My vehicle broke down in Davenport, Florida I got an ETA of 51 minutes when my car broke down two miles from my home, but I ended up waiting five hours and no tow truck driver showed up. I chose to call All State, but their customer service was trash just like triple A's. These large corporations collect yearly fees yet are unable to offer competent service. If my entire family was with me and it was late night, I can't even begin to picture what might happen. Customer safety should be a priority! read more

I was in Lakeland in March and needed tickets for Universal for my husband and I. The saleswoman was very nice and we left with a good price on the tickets. Unfortunately due to a prior foot surgery I was unable to use the tickets and called AAA. The woman who answered said we could return them. When I got back to NJ I went to my local AAA and the manager there said they were solely owned and she was not about to lose the money to refund my tickets!! So I called the Florida office and spoke with the manage (Linda I believe) and she said she would see what she could do. I spoke to her again the next day and she spoke to the corporate office and graciously gave us the refund. I would definitely recommend using this office if you need to use AAA. read more
