I don't believe the employees are thoroughly invested with wanting to do their jobs. I feel like they want to drop you like a hot potato. They also do not follow through. Truly, what keeps them satisfied with this level of poor service. read more

Sherri was great - phenomenal, polite and quick service! Greatly enjoyed getting to know her and the team!

People here are very friendly and very willing to help. We stopped in to get some information on travel arrangements that we were looking to do, but you can do all kinds of things here. Insurance, passport, photos, etc.... Lucky to have so close to our home. read more

Needed a passport photo, and AAA provides a discount for members on photos. Explained that I went to another location and that the photo printing machine would not work. Very friendly staff took care of everything without any change. I'll definitely come back to this AAA location in the future. read more

Horrible insurance company with even worse customer service. If i could give -5 stars i would. AAA here local in San Antonio Texas off San Pedro Avenue Unit 214 is filled with MISERABLE and RUDE people and i'm hoping this review saves somebody from wasting their time and energy with these clowns. Not only are they miserable but they lack understanding when trying to connect with their customers, they rudely interrupt and talk over you, they raise their voice and hang up on you mid conversation when on the phone and they always seem to be upset, sad and miserable people who are a disgrace and taint the reputation of good people here in San Antonio Texas. AAA Insurance here in San Antonio Texas off of San Pedro is truly employed with the most trashiest people of San Antonio. Save yourself!!!! Go with Geico, Allstate, USAA, State Farm, Progressive, literally anybody but them unless you want to take the chance and spend your time and energy dealing with sad miserable and the trashiest people of San Antonio Texas found here at your local AAA insurance branch in San Pedro Unit 214 read more

Super friendly office After a mess at the other location, when we arrived the manager greeted us and told us they would waive our fee for photos. Staff was super friendly and helped us right away with our international driver's license. They went over making sure we had a card with no international fees They got us a map or the location we are visiting and even suggested getting travel insurance. Will definitely be checking into travel insurance with them for this trip and future trips after such a good experience. read more

I've always had a good experience at this location. The staff are friendly and professional. The have helped us plan trips to Disney world in Florida and to England. They even assisted with an international drivers licence. Unfortunately they changed their hours. The new hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. Like many others my wife and I work Monday-Friday 8-5 so this really makes it really inconvenient. I wish they had a weekend staff. I would give it 5 stars if they were open on Saturdays again. read more

Went in for a quote. Trying to decide if I want to change companies for my vehicle and renters insurance. The agent was very thorough and professional. Carefully went over all of my options in detail. I decided to keep what I have for now but will consider at a later date. The entire office staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

AAA Insurance - Travel Services Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

So glad I came to this AAA for my international drivers permit. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable.

I have had good experiences at this location. The employees are engaged with their job and courteous to cusomers. There is plenty of parking here unlike the location on IH10 read more

I have been with them a couple of yrs and lately it's been slower .. they do not communicate correctly with each other and especially customers .. they should look for another towing agency cause Ridgeway in Texas is very bad they never come out for a tow!! read more

I would like to commend the exceptional service given yesterday by Leo R. from Ridgeway Towing. I am not sure which AAA office dispatched him to handle my service request for assistance with a battery issue. But I felt he needed to be acknowledged for his quick response by arriving way earlier than the time I was given. He was so courteous and thorough in resolving the problem. He patiently explained the issue and options available. I truly feel he went beyond his call of duty. Thank you Leo R....you are an asset to your company! read more

The service just keeps getting worse and worse.... call first a tow at 1:19 pm and as of 9:53 pm still no service. Definitely not worth the money they charged. Customer service agents don't know what's going on and they sub contact out to companies that aren't willing to do the job read more

Sincerely wish I could leave negative stars. My friend and I were traveling from San Antonio to Dallas. She had been a member of AAA for 24 years. We were about an hour and a half away from Dallas when her transmission went out. It had just gotten full dark when we had to pull over into the narrow breakdown lane of a very busy highway on a curve. There was no habitation around, so we had to stay in the vehicle. It was an extremely unsafe location and situation. We called AAA. We explained how unsafe we were and asked if there was a way to expedite the tow. We were told he would be there in 35 minutes. We waited 1.5 hours, during which time we heard absolutely NOTHING from AAA. So, we called AAA. We were told that the tow truck driver canceled our pick up over an hour ago. We were never contacted. At all. We reiterated to this second lady how unsafe we were. So this second lady told us that she would "call us back as soon as she gets a different tow arranged." We waited another 30 minutes for a call that never came. So we called back AGAIN (we are still sitting in a tiny car on the side of the freeway, PRAYING that we don't get smashed by one of the 18 wheelers barreling past at 100 mph!). We again explained how unsafe we were and were told to wait "on a brief hold so she can see if she can find us a driver." 15 minutes into our "brief hold" with her, the tow truck driver called my friends phone, saying he would be there in a further 38 minutes. They kept asking us where we were, but we could not give an exact answer, but we gave them as much info as we could. We were the only vehicle on the side of the road with our flashers on. Meanwhile, I was still on "a brief hold" with AAA. I gave up waiting for the THIRD rep from AAA to come back to the phone after being on hold for 45 minutes. As I hung up on the hold music (while waiting for the 3rd representative to come back to the phone), a tow truck driver pulled up behind us and asked if we needed help. We told him we're waiting on the AAA tow. As we were speaking to him, our AAA driver called. He could not find us. The more we tried to help with our location, the more frustrated the diver became. The driver who stopped to check on us (Abbott from Big Daddy's Wrecker Service 5 Stars for them, by the way!) Made sure we were ok, left and came back about 20 or so minutes later leading our AAA driver right to us! We were finally loaded up and were taken to the repair shop without further incident. I would give the AAA tow truck driver 4 stars, but the people in the office or wherever they were located zero and less stars. They deliberately left us in an unsafe environment for over 4 hours and could absolutely NOT give a care in the world. At the beginning of our breakdown, I was absolutely planning on signing up with AAA. Unfortunately, my eyes were opened to the horrible treatment, the gaslighting, and just plain disregard for the danger we were in. The way they treated a 24-year loyal customer made me realize that this is just NOT a company that I would ever want to do business with. I am utterly disgusted by AAA and the way our situation was handled. I DO NOT recommend this company. What a shame. read more

Buyers Beware.. If I could give them zero stars I would. I can understand you only get four tows out the year. The fact you only cover 7 miles and not inform your customers that is the case is crazy. You can't use your spouses services unless the are with you. The company has really gone downhill and the service is bad. Call around for a tow please don't purchase any type of policy from AAA. The other companies will be way cheaper trust. If I was told I had to pay for any miles after the 7 mile mark. I would have declined to accept the service. I wasn't told this until I called and complained. The tow company was more helpful than AAA. Communication is key and with them that is not the case. If you call to complain they will hang up on you. read more

Booked a June 2022 10-person family anniversary celebration trip to Cancun through AAA Travel in Stone Oak. Although we planned it 10 months out and had repeated confirmations for specific upgrade resort accommodations, the AAA Stone Oak agent FAILED to properly coordinate with the Pleasant Holidays vendor they used in Cancun. Our accommodations were LESS than promised, and no options were available. Cannot give any rating, since AAA has been to this resort in the past, and should have known the accommodation arrangements. The resort recommended always booking directly with them to assure best accommodations. We will be doing that in the future, never again through AAA Stone Oak in San Antonio. Beware! read more

Put me on auto renew without EVER asking me or mentioning it or putting it in any printed materials. Then, would not refund me the second membership charge which I never agreed to. If you want to be tricked and swindled and unexpectedly have $60 debited from your account and then have to spend half an hour on the phone to find out what it is, only to be treated rudely and get no refund, then yeah. You should totally sign up. Oh and also, if you call for help, you can expect it to come like three hours later. The part of the company located in the north west is not nearly this bad. Clearly the Texas part has bad management and some people should be fired. Bad news. read more

I'm not sure what office this AAA representative is from but she was anything but cordial to me, she became very rude and disrespectful to which I ended the conversation. If this is how AAA treats people I am glad I am not a customer and don't understand how they're still in business may be the AAA representative Jennifer Clapp just needs additional training in customer service. read more

I found out the hard way that AAA has a 4 USAGE LIMIT PER YEAR on its emergency service. I was stranded at 2030 in the evening with my 2 minor children when my vehicle broke down. I had the extended service card for free 100 mile towing. I found out when I called that a customer is only allowed to use the card 4 times a year regardless of the circumstances and reason for usage[I had used mine for 2 jump starts and 2 tows]. When I contacted AAA I was forced to pay an additional $90.00 in fees and was told that my vehicle could only be towed 7 miles without having to pay extra. AAA would not even acknowledge my complaint about the devious way they handled this much less address it. They hide the restrictions in the 'fine print'. If you want a reputable Auto Service it would be cheaper to either get towing through your auto insurance company or go with another auto club. read more

Booked two Disney trips in the past two years with AAA and saved over $800!! They were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about everything regarding my trip. The past visit I had to AAA was so helpful that I even decided to switch my auto and homeowners insurance to AAA. My auto insurance was almost $300 per month with GEICO and I am now paying $155.00 per month. Our mortgage even went down by $65/month because we are saving quite a bit. However, I now go to the brand-new Stone Oak office (Stone Oak and Huebner), not San Pedro. I like that it's just up the road and I can deal with real people when I have questions regarding my policies or want to book any type of travel. read more
