When my water heater sprang a leak, Joe came that day, I volunteered to do some of the work myself to offset the cost- Joe offered all the info I needed. He is an amazingly honest person and truly the best I've ever met. When my company needed to repair some air dryer systems I called Joe on a long shot. He said he'd give it a shot and within hours he had our systems back up and working perfectly (saving our company litterally thousand upon thousands of dollars.) Remember I said he was honest? It reflects in his billing completely. The Building Supervisor asked me why the bill was so low knowing it took several hours to fix the unit. I got a call a few days later saying the motor was discontinued, and the replacement was $480. I said no problem, get it coming. Then a Jack calls me up saying he needs more money to cover tax. Huh? I am in California, you are in Illinois, and your website didn't ask for tax. His explanation is they shipped direct from the motor supplier, so they have to collect tax. My explanation is I bought it from you, not your motor supplier, so your reseller certificate should cover the tax problem. and you should ship it to Illinois, if you want to avoid that. Well, Gilly the manger doesn't care, and told me its the law, blah blah blah, and even though I explained to him how taxes work, and its who your buying it from not who your shipping it to. The fact that this company docent want to ship it into their warehouse, they want to ship it direct is the reason the tax is being triggered, even though they had the wrong price on the motor, and are continuing to waste my time, they don't seem to care. Their web site say Customer Service is our number one goal for 60 years, well I beg to differ. They clearly don't care about me or my needs, and just want to nickel and dime me. ORDER CANCLED!!!
