I was told the high cost was due to the inclusion of a "Gold Membership". That included various discounts on future dispatch fees, parts and labor, a 1 year additional warranty on installed parts, priority service, and an annual "comprehensive" plumbing inspection. I rarely need plumbing service, so I asked what would the cost be without the Gold Membership. That cost was about $20 higher and I would not get the additional 1 year warranty on the installed flush valve!! So I went with the original quote to get the job done. The next day I got an email to schedule my annual "comprehensive" plumbing inspection. The inspection would include (1) documenting all fixtures & equipment (2) documenting the age and condition of entire plumbing system (3) treating drains to prevent clogs (4) providing 3 lists for future maintenance. I scheduled the inspection for 9 a.m. I was told they like to schedule these as their first call of the day since it will take about 2 hours. No one shows at 9 a.m.! I don't receive any communication. Two very young, inexperienced plumbers finally arrive at 10:40! (Had another call). Here's what they did for my comprehensive inspection. They (1) turned on and off faucets and shower heads and (2) took pictures of showers, sinks, toilets, the water heater and the viewable plumbing to those fixtures. That's it!! The "inspection" took 15 minutes with no questions or commentary. They did not flush toilets nor did they turn off and on the valves to fixtures and dishwasher. As they were about to leave, I pointed out an issue with removing the kitchen sink faucet aerator. I had recently replaced all others but could not remove the kitchen aerator. One of the plumbers tried but, likewise, could not remove it. He said he would check with someone back at the shop and get back to me. They went to their vehicle and completed and emailed to me my Gold Inspection Form. That form included the pictures taken as well as a checklist of items they apparently "inspected" while taking the pictures. The form also included some further information about the 1 year additional warranty provided with Gold Membership. Get this....in order to get the 1 year additional warranty, the Gold Membership must be renewed in the SECOND year!!! (So the 1 year additional warranty that was supposedly included in the $462.28 for the toilet flush valve, that started this whole fiasco, was NOT really included!!) After all this, I'm sure what next happened will not surprise anyone. One of the plumbers returned and stated that I NEEDED TO PAY MY GOLD MEMBERSHIP!!!! Oh by the way, it's been over a week, and no one has gotten back to me regarding the kithcen aerator. I'm not holding my breath. Bottom line, in my opinion, Mike's Plumbing is DEFINITELY NOT who you want to turn to for quality, professional plumbing needs. From the above, you can prescribe whatever adjectives you deem appropriate to their service.

Hi all: We've used…read moreRon a few times. In each case, he was rude, obnoxious and appeared to overcharged us. Recently, I thought I had a water back up. I emphasized that it was not something that required action immediately, but fairly promptly. I called him at 4pm, which he said was "emergency" but didn't explain the ramifications of that, however I used some common sense to determine that he was looking for an excuse to charge us time and a half. We made an appointment the next morning even though I asked repeatedly for a pm time because I was going to run errands. He agreed, but then informed me that he was going to come in the morning. No problem, I decided to roll with it to get along and not seem fussy. He asked me a question about about whether we were on sewer vs septic. However, the first question he should have asked (I'm surmising as a novice here) is that, given the back up was in the shower, to check whether the shower drain cover was completely open. As a novice, it is difficult to know whether it is completely open or closed vs the older ones which used to go up and down rather twist. Rookie mistake, but most of us are rookies. I promptly called Ron to explain everything was ok, and identified the problem. In a tremulous voice, he admonished me that we'd have to "look for another plumber." A little harsh I thought, but that's totally his prerogative. What wasn't ok was that the next day, Ron left an unhinged message on my phone reiterating that he would never service this property ever again. That prompted me to write this review. In sum, in this reviewer's opinion Ron has a long history displaying inappropriate, intemperate behavior. This case not only reinforced that but he took it to another level. I even thought about filing a non-emergency police report because he sounded more than just upset. Significantly, when interacting with Ron, acting with decorum, deference, and being polite does not prevent or ameliorate his behavior.

They go silent. Here's what happened to me. I had a clogged pipe in my home. Another plumbing company had already inspected it, provided video evidence, and recommended a hydro jet. AIM Plumbing quoted a cheaper estimate, so I gave them the job. The hydro jet itself went fine. What happened next is the problem. After the job, they told me my pipe had collapsed and quoted me $3,400 to repair it. I asked for pictures or video to support this. They sent me the attached photo, which as you can see, shows absolutely nothing. A blurry image that tells you zero about the condition of the pipe or the scope of work needed. I followed up and asked for a video. Their response was that sending someone out with a camera would be a separate job with additional charges. In that same email, they admitted they never recorded anything when they ran the jetter down the line. So let me get this straight. You want me to pay for someone to come out again because you didn't do your job properly the first time? You want me to trust a $3,400 repair based on a photo that proves nothing? When I pressed them further, they refused to engage entirely. It's now been over a week since the hydro jet, and my pipes are working perfectly fine. Do yourself a favor and find a plumber who documents their work, stands behind their claims, and doesn't try to upsell you on repairs you don't need. One last thing. I tried posting this review on Google as well, but their page does not allow Google reviews. That should tell you everything you need to know about how this company does business.
