They got in touch about our crumbling cement steps and cautioned that if we didn't fix them that we "might not be covered in the event of an instance involving the steps." We kept meaning to get to the steps. Then we get a notice saying that we have been CANCELLED because of the steps. Steps are fixed. No one returns our calls or emails from Robert K. Jones. When I call, I am deflected by the receptionist. "She'll call you right back." An hour passes. When I call back and am connected to the agent "Lisha," she has excuses but no apologies. We have been without homeowner's insurance for two-and-a-half weeks and it seems they just don't give a damn. Nice folks, but not in the trenches for you. Keep shopping.

Our daughter recently got into 2 accidents & then held against her that she actually used the road side assistance we have been paying to have for years. Corporate said she would be taken off insurance but then they came after us & we were told to work with our agent, I left multiple messages & was told sorry, we are training a new person & so on. I actually drove over more than once just to be able to talk to someone because my calls were not being returned. We explained that we hadn't been in any accidents or violated anything & we have been faithfully paying our premiums & as soon as an issue arises not even with us they want to knock us off. So we submitted the info., corporate requested to our agent & was told it would be taken care of-however, my gut told me something different and I just called corporated and they say our insurance isn't active so we have been driving with out insurance for over a week and didn't know it. We are so disappointed and frustrated with this experience & with State Farm for being so great when we are paying them & not asking them to pay for anything but as soon as we make a claim or a situation happens then they want to drop us even after we were paying double to compensate our daughters accident. I just pray this doesn't happen to anyone else, ever.
