Thirty to forty-five minutes You have to be careful about rough chiropractic doctors who tear blood vessels etc. I've never had that problem with Rose. I Jae with two others in town that popped so hard that I felt they tore something in my neck. She is wonderful. The staff is outstanding. And if I'm in pain, they ALWAYS work me in. And the sweet sweet people are amazing! I would never consider anyone else. And that is high praise. Wish I could say that about my regular doctors!

And when I do get to the clinic, I am never rushed thru my appointment so the doctor can move on to his next patient. He takes the time to find out everything that is happening in my life, and makes sure all my prescriptions are up to date so I'm never without my medication. I have been a patient of Dr Birdwell for a good number of years, my mother was also a patient of his until she passed away in March 2013. I cannot imagine changing doctors for any reason. No other doctor would take the time and effort he spends on each of his patients. Again, THANK YOU Dr Birdwell and your staff, thank you.

Kelly (nurse) took my vitals and asked all the new patient questions. She is such a kind, warm person! I felt as though I was talking to a friend! Then Katherine (nurse practitioner) entered the room with a big smile! She spent an hour and forty five minutes with me and was incredibly down to earth and thorough! I still can't believe the amount of care I received at this appointment. I can honestly say I have never experienced a doctor's visit like this one. Katherine actually listened to me in such a concerned and caring way. When I mentioned I had chest pains a few weeks ago she immediately ordered an EKG. Within minutes Kelly came in and ran the tests which showed no problems with my heart. What a relief! NO charge for the test! Unbelievable!!! I will recommend this clinic and Katherine to everyone! If you do not have insurance and need QUALITY healthcare this is the place to go!!!!

When I moved to the area, I was worried I wouldn't find a chiropractor I like as much as my last…read moreone. Turns out, I like Dr. Smith even more! My husband has gone to Dr. Toy and had a similarly excellent experience. This clinic is relaxed, professional, and fast, I come in and get my adjustments and I'm out the door within 10 minutes. It's easy to get in quickly, same day and next day appointments aren't a problem. The office staff is pleasant, professional, and accommodating. They also take my insurance. Best of all, no hard pressure sales for packages or x-rays or other junk some places try to push on you. Both docs have been doing this a long time and are very experienced. I appreciate that they stick to the old school hands-on pop-pop-pop chiropractic work versus the new activators that a lot of chiropractors have begun to use. This practice is old school and professional, and the docs clearly know what they're doing. Dr. Smith has a delightful bedside manner, he's friendly and down to earth and makes you feel completely comfortable. I've been several times and in the waiting room, I can tell a lot of people are very loyal to this practice and they have a lot of regulars, many of whom seem to be dealing with major injuries. In my case, I do not have any specific injury, just chronic tightness in my neck and shoulders which will get to a point where I lose mobility and I'm unable to turn my neck very far to the left or right without tremendous pain. This issue is alleviated by a really good adjustment to my neck and upper back. Because I do need neck adjustments, I am very particular about who I go to, but feel 100% comfortable and safe with Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith always helps me and my neck mobility improves immediately following his adjustments, it's amazing. He's very knowledgeable about what causes my strains specifically. Overall, my mobility in general is greatly improved when I remember to keep up with regular adjustments. Which I'm bad about! Husband likes to get regular adjustments because he feels they help him with his hip and knee issues, he was thrilled with his visit to Dr. Toy. Husbands adjustments focus more on his lower back. Both of us have been seeing chiropractors for many years, and we really like this practice. This is the longest review I've ever done, however, if you have chronic issues and need this type of treatment, I cannot overstate how important it is to get the "right" doc to treat it. For us, this is the best!

He is always in a good mood and is fast and efficient. I won't see anyone else. After over 40 years of chiropractic care; he is the real deal. When I called for an appointment, the office asked what meds I am taking and I told them HRT, nothing else I am healthy. The office said that they would check with the doctor and get back to me about an appointment (confusing, but I guess it is the Oklahoma way to do things) Well the office got back to me to say that the doctor would not take me on as a patient because of the medications I'm taking! I never asked for a medicine refill, (I don't need one) I've never used a primary doctor in place of an OB doctor. I explained to the woman on the phone that I already have an OBGYN doctor and that I need a Primary Care Physician and nope, they didn't seem to care. Is his refusal even legal? I used the following criteria for this rating: 1) Ease of scheduling urgent appointments: one of my "complaints" about this office is the "banker's hours". That's fine - they are welcome to establish their own operating hours, but they were not conducive to my schedule - nothing late, closed for lunch and no Saturdays. However, when they are open - I have always been able to get in. 2) Office environment, cleanliness, comfort, etc.: This is a clean, modern facility. No "sexy" equipment or physical therapy rooms like some chiropractic clinics, but I don't need all of that crap anyway. 3) Staff friendliness and courteousness: I have only seen one woman working there as a receptionist, but usually it is just Dr. Cortez. 4) Wait Time: Never have waited to be treated Experience with Dr. Cortez - 5) Level of trust in provider's decisions: Dr. Cortez is very professional and knowledgeable in the different modalities of care. Dr. Cortez is very cordial and likeable; I just never felt like I developed a great rapport. Possibly if I had been treated by him more frequently, it would have developed. 6) Cost of care: Treatments are reasonably priced - however, the time with the doctor is adequate, but nothing extra. Point being, I pay $12 more for my treatments now and that is including ultrasound therapy a phenomenal 10 minute massage and extra time w/ the dr. I do not intend for this to be a negative review - I just so happened to find a phenomenal provider who goes above and beyond with her patients.
