I went through LC Staffing to work the beer garden at a concert. I liked the employer & they really liked me. This is minimum wage & not full-time or part-time work, this is a few gigs a mo. I spent 15-20min in the office of LC Staffing & in return I "owe" them 880hrs or 1yr servitude before the employer can hire me. After 7mo I've worked 15 events at 105hrs. Unfortunately, because I'm more expensive than a regular employee, I'm passed over when new events pop up. I was never made aware of the hrs or timeline I would owe LC Staffing. I never signed any contract. The contract is between LC Staffing & the employer, I am not allowed to see the contract. I quit LC Staffing & have to wait 5mo until the employer can hire me. This is predatory & they should be ashamed. It's frustrating & disgusting how they treat people of Missoula. Learn from my terrible experience & do not step in the door of LC Staffing.
