I only needed my income taxes done and the final cost for tax prep service was over $700. I was shocked when they told me the final cost. I normally do my own taxes at home using Turbo Tax, but I thought I'd give professional tax preparation a chance. That's the last time I do that! In all fairness to Anderson, prior to having my taxes done, I did sign an agreement that acknowledged their $200 per hour cost. I didn't realize that it would take a tax professional over three hours to do something that I can do in 45 minutes! The tax prep was great... returned to me in a tidy folder and they electronically filed my taxes, but definitely not worth $700. I won't be returning to Anderson Accounting for future Accounting needs.
