Easton Watersports - One of our family annual activities when visiting south Florida

Easton Watersports

One of my favorite memories of growing up on South Florida was jet skiing around the intercoastal…read more Now that my kids are getting a little older thought they would enjoy a day on jet skis zipping around the intercoastal and so I rented them from Easton Watersports for 1.5 hours. Similar to a car you need to be 16 to drive one so my 11 year old daughter was on the back of mine and my 6 and 9 year old sons joined my husband. We met Dominic at the Pioneer Park- boat ramps in Deerfield Beach. Please note that this location is different than the address on the Yelp review since we were a bit confused ourselves. We started off slow getting used to the jet skis and also admiring the beautiful homes on the intercoastal. Then for about 30-45 minutes we got to go as fast as we could zipping over massive waves and holding on for dear life. I thought we were speed demons, but my thrill seeking daughter kept yelling at me that I wasn't going fast enough. My 9 year old son did fall off the back of my husband's jet ski, but he claimed that was the most fun part of the excursion. .And Dominic was nearby the entire time to help out in these situations and more, but overall we felt very safe. 1.5 hours was perfect and everyone had a great time. They declared it their favorite day in South Florida and made us promise we'll rent jet skis again on a future trip. Done!

I made a reservation through yelp and prepaid $30 for a jet ski near lighthouse cove resort. When I…read moregot there, they didn't seem to have my information and I paid the remainder of $150. People walking up on the beach asking the price were told $150, so the $30 reservation was pretty meaningless and seemed to be just an extra charge. Also, the area you can drive the jet ski in is pretty limited. Wish I would have known.

This was so much fun! 5 stars!! KC Jet Ski & Watersports offered professional service and quality…read morejet skis. We took an early morning tour with Kevin. He gave us proper instruction on how to use the jet skis and what to do if we fell in the water. Each of us were provided with life jackets. Because we started off in the canal we were able to get comfortable on the jet skis before heading out to the ocean. Once in the ocean we were able to open the throttle and feel the speed. The early morning tour was a great option because the waters were calm. This tour had a balanced mix of faster speeds and also slower idle speeds in the canals which allowed for seeing all the sights. This tour started in Pompano Beach, came back around to Lighthouse Point down the ocean to Fort Lauderdale and back up through the canal. I was surprised at how long we were on the skis - for about 2.5 hours. We were satisfied with the timing but you'd also want to make sure you have proper sun protection. I also liked that the office KC Jet Ski is operated from had little extras to buy in case something was forgotten - waterproof phone cases, sunglass straps, sunglasses, etc. This was an awesome experience. Thank you KC Jet Ski & Watersports!

We booked 3 jet skis pretty last minute (the day before) on President's day weekend…read more The company was super responsive and very easy to communicate with during our booking and the day of our experience. If you are under 34 years old you have to take a boating test (which was pretty easy) before riding. The online platform was very easy to use to take the test and sign the documents (everything gets emailed to you). Alex guided us through the channels into the ocean where we got to ride as fast as we wanted. Alex was very great at directing us & keeping us away from the other boats while also explaining the rules/how tos before we started riding. The jet skis, the communication, and the customer service was great! We will deff be using this company again in the future! Ps they also will accommodate Groupon prices- just call them and let them know & you can book directly through them instead of using Groupon!

We resolved the upload issue using another computer, but the afternoon of the reservation, we get a "reminder" to complete the forms from "Tiffany" so texted and called again a few more times to make sure they got everything needed. Texted multiple times, no response other than the canned BS. Showed up at the designated time 30 minutes early, not a jetski in sight, continued to call without any response right up until 5 minutes AFTER the reservation. Lesson learnt, I won't book anything on line like this without speaking with someone or doing more research prior. Anyway, I already have my money back from the card company (thank you USAA) but I can't get back the time and effort (and disappointment) that we had put into planning what was supposed to be a nice afternoon on the water. So make SURE you use a good card company when you book with someone as dodgy as this place.

Our day would have been ruined...except THIS great company got us going with jet skis, lounge chairs, canopy( for baby) and transportation for disabled dad on sand disability wheelchair!! Wanted to take her jet skiing. But my plan was almost derailed when a google search turned up 2 horrible "companies". If you can even call them that. The first place doesn't exist, literally a fake name with a fake address, and they told me a didn't need a reservation and sent me to a place on the beach that had terrible customer service and apparently no jet skis to rent. I guess he was wrong about needing a reservation. So we ended up here on the recommendation from a friendly parking liaison. All of the guys at Ft. Lauderdale Parasail were really friendly and outgoing. They made us feel welcome and they really took care of us! The overall experience was so much better han we could hope for. The way it works is you start off on the taking the skis out with a guide on intercostal and since there's a speed limit, it takes about 10-15 mins to get to the open ocean where you can really open those baby's up. Initially I wasn't stoked about this idea but It's actually pretty cool because you get a nice tour while you cruise for the first few mins while getting used to the jet skis so by the time you get to the ocean you're ready for all out throttle. Plus the intercostal is a really nice sight. Again my appreciation goes out to Dan and George, who really exceeded my expectations and saved what started out as a complete nightmare. Will definitely visit these guys again!!
