    My review is based upon the service and experience I have received here. To try to put it shortly,…read moreI am most concerned with their cancellation process. I canceled my subscription in January due to not having time to come in the salon anymore. They stated I had to cancel in person, so I completed the cancelation with the front desk person. They told me I was good to go and would not be charged again. I could use my remaining one credit at another date. No further action required by me. Great. Fast forward to May 1st, I notice I have been charged $140 each month since January from MassageLuxe! I draft an email, send it to my local store, and call the center the following day. They state they will forward the request to regional manager. The regional manager calls me later that day and says they have no record of my cancellation. How convenient. Turns out they do not send receipts for cancellations. Ah ha! The regional manager says she can understand how I may think this is tedious but they need records of me cancelling, it's just business. Excuse me, well why maintain the record if you can just continue to charge me right? She stated "I signed a business agreement that states that I would cancel in writing". Why did the location tell me to cancel in person? I did that already! This is completely unfair. I then ask to speak to her manager. They do not give out their number she states, but would email on my behalf and follow up perhaps Monday. I'll update if they do so. Side note, when I had a membership the massages always started late, which caused the service to be shorter. I would wait in the waiting room sometimes 10-15 minutes after my massage start time. I never felt like it was really fair.

I went for my massage on a Sunday afternoon, and honestly, my expectations were low- I've had a couple massages (a while ago) that weren't the best and from the reviews on here, it looks a little rough. My appointment was with Ashia, and from the moment she pushed on my back, my body felt pressure relief. It was amazing. I ended up getting their monthly membership, and I'm excited to get these monthly! I recommend giving them a go- it was a relaxing experience, and they do offer some good deals, although the front desk does seem a bit "sales-driven," which isn't the best thing. Look past that, stay strong with how you feel, and go from there. Your body may thank you.
