We just spent three days here. It is literally a minute from the boat launch. Before we found out…read moreabout this place we could only do one day lake trips with the boat. So nice to be able to have the trailer and boat. This place is clean. The staff are friendly. There are hookups for water and electric. Also there is extra parking for the truck an boat.. We will be back for sure.

Red Bull, fountain (Pepsi: all the way) Arizona iced teas, and chips!! Variety of beverages, snacks, and hot to-go foods. They also carry other miscellaneous items. Just as any convenient store. It's adjacent and surroundings: storyland, the zoo, a Mexican restaurant and Aldo's. In question this would have not been ideal to stop at but it was MANDATORY that it was a stop to the nearest exit. It happens to be here. LOL entrance to the freeway is right across the street. Saw a lady with garments that were barely covering any parts of her body so that was a sight to see and for free. WE ALL love free but what we see, we CANNOT unsee. So I don't know how to feel about this. Really we stopped here for a good 10-15 minutes. Lol so I saw lots of interesting people come and go. I might add Fresno is a habitant for a LOT of odd beings but this is why I love FRESNO; because you never kNOw! I just wouldn't stop as late as we did here last night. Maybe in mid-morning/afternoon when there's a lot of public eyes. LOL. They are brace to still run a business here. It's a janky gas station, like the ones in movies that are broken/ran down and overly used. We didn't fill up. I don't know if I would even trust putting gas here really. But the food and snacks and pit stop was fine in itself.

I get my gas and snacks from here prior to work and so reasonably priced. They've really spruced up the place after new management took over. They added another baseball field a few years ago to meet demands but they didn't add another parking area to meet with high demands of the extra crowd it would attract. There is plenty of space for it. City of Selma, please notice!! They offer a cool little snack bar which consists of locals fundraising for their organization. Restrooms are a little difficult as well. Kinda remind me of the ones at The Pismo Beach Pier. Enter at your own risk and take some napkins with you just in case and some hand sanitizer. I live alone out in the country on 5 acres and off-grid. I would never have been able to stay in my home if it was not for the incredible help I have received from this wonderful agency. My worker Sabrina is my "angel." She has helped me get all the things I need to be safe. I had a dangerous entry with no handrails where I had fallen a couple of times. She was able to get a company to install an aluminum porch with wide stairs and handrails. That changed my life! No more falls. Sabrina and her team are always there when I need them and are committed to my well-being and safety. They really helped me create a safe and workable living situation. Their advertising makes them appear as a one stop information center offering help for seniors but they are not. I'm now a senior searching for services and had a lot of questions so I called them last week. Still the same lack of information and complacency, This Agency is a federally funded organization. Oersonally I feel they're taking advantage of seniors and taxpayer dollars. I received more direction by calling Fresno's local 211. Again the Agency for Aging ads make them appear to be a huge clearinghouse of information for seniors but they are far from it. Due to my experience over 20 yrs, I feel they should be disbanded and federal grant money should go to 211.
