It is a shame. The level of care when you can get in the door is very nice, but this practice is terrible. It comes down to the apathy they have for their clients time. It can be a struggle to get somewhere on time. When I get there on a scheduled appointment, they can never see me on time. However, if I am ever late by even fifteen minutes they cancel me. (I have personally waited 3 hours on an appointment before and been rescheduled while they were working on another client because they didn't have time to finish my work). My husband was going to be late after we had an issue with our two toddlers today. They cancelled. It's happened twice before once earlier this year and once last year. So now, they will only allow him to schedule a same day appointment if they have the time. Bear in mind, he was having a simple extraction. Scheduled said an hour and a half was blocked for him, the fifteen minutes would still not encroach on another appointment. They offer 0 grace period. They care about their time but have 0 regard for the clients. If they won't let him schedule, they don't need his money, they don't need my money, they don't need anyone elses so I won't refer anyone to them at all. In fact, anyone I know who goes there, I will find another better, more accommodating practice and let them know about it so that hopefully this establishment as a result is forced to close. I had a deep cleaning done on October 4th, 2024, and I was not really impressed by it. Due to my insurance, it only covers 60% of it. I paid 219 for a deep cleaning that I didn't need. It was all a scam. Money-hungry. I liked Dr. Schwartz when I saw him but this place just seems desparate to make money. I was told I had gingivitis when my neighbor who's a hygentist in a dental office, said I actually didn't. So I paid for a service I didn't actually need. I called them today to request a refund and fix my cleaning to a regular cleaning, they couldn't even change it to a regular cleaning. I filed a dispute with my bank and I will not be back after that. They also tried to upsell me a lot of products I didn't need. Bought a mouthwash from them that tasted like absolute garbage. Emergency need for a root canal. I was looking for a dentist in the area I moved to and was very impressed with Dr Schwartz's educational backgrounds. I lost a filling and the pain was excruciating. I was scheduled the very next day. Reception and scheduling staff are efficient and support each other as a team, which I found impressive because I was fit in to their busy schedule. The dental assistant, Ray, has been with Dr Schwartz for 15 years and as a team, they ensured my comfort, nursed my anxiety and it has been the best and easiest dental experience I have had. I have a mouthful of root canals I acquired when I lived elsewhere in another state so I am relieved to find a new dental home of such high quality. i've been going there for the last 10 years or more. And the front desk staff has been amazing. No complaints. But today it was trash. I'm not sure if the high new employees or they had a bad day as well so they were just frustrated. Because, the conversation I had with the young lady was horrible. When I commented about it, she said that wasn't me that was someone else. And that wouldn't have bother me but the way she said it was horrible. Usually people will be like oh I'm sorry that's unfortunate. I would try to make this situation better for you, but nothing like that. She was just like that wasn't me. also her or both of them because I'm not sure if it was the same person or different people and they're just lying and it was the same person. Like no one says have a great day anymore or thank you for calling or I will see you at your appointment. Nothing like that I made my appointment and not even a goodbye or see you later just hung up the phone.. Like to anyone that's rude. I am from out of town and I saw this dentist passing by and later that night my tooth cracked. I went online to look for it again and read the reviews. It's hard to find a dentist you can trust and let me tell you...this is that dentist. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. The staff was real friendly and I felt I was at my own dentist back in Atlanta. Dr Schwartz was awesome! He tells you what he's gonna do and made sure I was numb before he started. The process was quick and easy. If you have Care Credit they accept that as payment as well. I didn't have to use any money we had set aside for travel. My husband liked the dentist, but there prices are unreal. We have insurance but they are not in network so that allows them to collect money from the insurance company and anything that the insurance company says exceeds reasonable and customary charges they charge you for it. My advise is to shop around there are a lot of great dentist out there that are affordable. read more

Everyone complaining about expensive dental work - remember, you get what you pay for. They were more than accommodating in getting my astronomical bill down to something I was more comfortable with (I needed a lot of work). Dr Schwartz's chairside manner is great, and all the other staff members I interacted with were also extremely pleasant. After my first appt, during which I received 4 hours straight of dental work, I was very uncomfortable, and the doc called me personally later that day to make sure I was doing alright. They're my new dentist, for sure. I've been a patient of A Winning smile since 2011. I've usual had insurance so costly dental procedures where never an issue. 2012 i had 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out. Didn't have insurance so i ended up paying 468 out of pocket. I didn't mind because i knew it was a pricey procedure. Yesterday 1 of my 2 remaining wisdom teeth were hurting and i knew it needed to be taken out. I called around to Gentle dental and Affordable dentures who offer extractions for good prices. The only issue with those locations were that they couldn't get me same day. Long story short they charged me 415 to remove one impacted wisdom to 1!!!!!. Keep in mind i was willing to pay for the procedure and knew it would be cheap but this place is a rip off. charged me 383 to remove the tooth and 32 for an xray. I wish i would have waited and had the procedure done at gentle dental or affordable dentures i would have saved at least 100 dollars for the same service. I will never give this place my business again. Even for individuals with insurance i would advised you to find an alternative. read more

This place is awful. My husband and I went for routine cleanings and they immediately started trying to sell us all sort of products and procedures. I never appreciate dentists who do this. Your a dentist not a salesmen, I already pay for insurance I don't want to pay for some b.s. additional treatment. Treat the immediate problem! My husband has wisdom teeth that obviously need to be removed. They glossed right over that and tried to sell him additional products and gum treatments. They weren't clear about pricing either. They didn't explain what they were doing and what it would cost so we had an unexpected surprise when we went to pay. I called the next day and told them we wouldn't be returning. When you already pay for dental insurance each month you really don't want to be hit up for superfluous treatments. Give me the care I need, really need, without the sales pitch. My comfort is clearly their top priority. You know you are in an office that is caring and highly professional. My children had been patients of winning smile.evrytime my children go there for fillings we have to pay 25%of the bill because that's what the agreement is with the insurance?but then after they still have to bill me 73.00dollars. So I tried to figure out why I have to pay more since I paid already after the procedure.later on I found out that the we're doing panoramic X-rays evrytime my children go there for check up.these panoramic X-rays are supposed to be done only every 3 years in w/c the insurance will pay. And also if we have to make an appointment for next check up I have to pay half of it first before they could give my children an appointment,this clinic is a crook.dont go to them .they r crooks.crooks, now my children are seeing a different dentist I need the X-rays 2 weeks ago they told me ok we will email it to thenew dentist now today my children's new dentist said they did not get the e mail.I call them again they said o the X-rays will be reviewed by their dentist first before they will be sent to the other office and it will take 24 to 48 hours.
