But in my experience, no one is perfect at their jobs, and when Mr. Howard drops the ball, he really drops the ball. He let me down after the worst thing that's ever happened in my life. When many years later, he was asked to be responsive to that, he wasn't. He has contributed to the PTSD that I got from the event and still have almost 2 decades later. I just thought that people should know that sometimes he drops the ball, and you don't want to be that person. You want somebody who will be angry about how you've been treated on your behalf, when there's good reason for it (rather than being angry with you, and having no problem, directing it at you, which also happened). A child on the concrete on her face, screaming for her mother, who is not allowed to go to her all because of an abusive law-enforcement official seems like a pretty good reason to me.
