The communication of what I expected and what I paid for did not meet the outcome of service recd. Topping and pruning are two different things. Make sure you mark, spray paint whatever you have to do to clarify communications. My mistake in thinking they could do the job I asked them to do. Very disappointed, I still have trees taller than the house, I rec'd all pruned trees which will only get taller and cause more damage. It's why I needed them shorter in the first place after one fell on my car. They were done in about 3 hours and left all of the wood neatly stacked and put the smaller branches and leaves through the wood chipper with no mess in the yard. They were more expensive than some other quotes but they did a lot more work. The tree with rot was quoted as salvageable by some other services but I had my doubts as it was already leaning towards my roof and a third of the trunk was gone.
