Dear Pat,
I miss you. My back misses you. My hips and knees and shoulders and neck miss you, too.
I recently spent several months working in Tyler. While there, I discovered a true talent at A Time 4 U. A friend gave me the gift of an appointment with Pat. I went in with the general expectation of a basic massage, but Pat is so much more.
(Not in a dirty way! Get your mind outta the gutter, people.)
Pat truly has a been blessed with healing hands. During the first appointment, Pat came in and laid her hands on my lower back. Without any knowledge of my medical history, she asked me, "How long has your back been hurting?"
What? She could tell I had chronic back pain just by touching my back?
The most amazing part is - she fixed it. Gently. Not with force like a chiropractor or by mashing me to death like a masseuse. With patience and gentle pressure she would slowly get my back, my hips, my shoulders and my neck all back in line like they're supposed to be.
I'll tell you what - when I stood up after that first appointment, I felt like dancing!
I had no pain - NONE! I've had chronic back pain that varies from a mild pressure to full blown can't-walk-so-you-just-lay-in-the-bed-and-cry pain for over 10 years now.
That moment, after my 1st appointmet, was the first time in a very long time that I felt, well...normal.
Pat, I still hope you'll consider moving to Austin someday.
Tylerites, you are lucky to have her. read more
