This company charges a fee just to come out and look at the issue. I called this company because I had a washer in one house that was not working and also a dryer in a guest house with not drying. The technician said the washer needs new "rods" (or whatever the technical term is) because they had gotten off balance "probably due to overloading." We paid his service fee and my husband ordered new "rods" and installed them perfectly. Still did not work. We called another company out to look and that technician said it was not the "rods" at all, it was the gear box and it was too expensive to fix. We just bought a new washer. Same day, I paid an additional service fee for the A-Tech tech to look at the guest house dryer not heating and drying. He turned it on and said it was blowing and working just fine and left. We tried to dry clothes that evening and it never heated up at all. We bought a new dryer. I feel like he misdiagnosed both issues, walked away with service fees paid and neither problem was fixed. read more

I recently had a very bad experience with this company. I had one of their poorly trained technicians come and "repair" my dryer. He installed the wrong part and charged me $330. Shortly after he left, I attempted to dry a load of clothes. Dryer didn't work! Called and they sent him back the same day. This time he said that my dryer vent was clogged and that the dryer wouldn't work until this was cleaned. Got another business to clean dryer vent. Dryer still not working. ATech sends same guy, plus a more experienced worker back out. Experienced worker begins asking young man if he checked a list of possible issues? He hadn't. Them experienced guy said that my problem was actually a bad motherboard. Do, after three attempts to fix and $330, I still had to buy new dryer. Called ATech 5 times over next three weeks to get partial refund. During this process, I was given different excuse as to why they had not processed my refund!! Finally received it two days ago! DO NOT USE ATech UnDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! You have been warned!!! read more

We began working with this company in October of 2022. Original part (inverter board) was on back order until end of December. Installed on 1/20/23. On 1/21/23, alarm on refrigerator continued to go off and part did not fix problem. Subsequently, evaporator was ordered. All parts were not shipped properly. Finally installed on 3/6/23. Continued to not work and compressor was placed on 3/13/23. Water line to ice maker was not installed properly and water leaked on hardwood floors. Freezer froze shut. In 3/22/23, after turning off electricity, it was found the house was not installed. Damage to hardwood floors and pictures were provided to technician. Refrigerator and freezer worked properly at this point, but we continued to have water leak intermittently between 4/8-4/29/23. We notified A-Tech again and ask them to pull out refrigerator to look for the leak. We were told if there was no water at that moment, they would not pull out the refrigerator or service our residence. The technician told us it was a plumbing issue. We hired a plumber and someone to crawl under the house and no leaks were found from plumbing. We finally hired a second appliance repair company and they immediately found the problem when they pulled the refrigerator. Technician stated the leak was due to overcharge of compressor with frosting of the suction line that was causing the leaking. The line was not insulated properly. Upon contacting the manager, Aaron Karimie, he disputed our complaints and said it was past their 90 day limit. He stated that there was no obvious damage, per the technician. This company destroyed our refrigerator. They sent out a technician to repair a refrigerator and he gouged holes in the back of our fridge when attempting to pull off a piece of a panel that had frozen. The technician pulled on the refrigerator so hard that items on top of the refrigerator fell onto the floor and shattered. We were forced to purchase a new refrigerator because of this company. In addition to the $2000 that we paid for a new refrigerator, we paid them 400 to destroy a perfectly good refrigerator. read more
