Photography and videography were my number one priority for my wedding; I wanted to be able to look back on the memories forever. However, my photographer was so expensive that for a while, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a videographer because everyone was extremely out of my budget. I also had the mistaken assumption and was afraid if I didn't pay an exorbitant amount, I would receive poor quality. Fortunately, one day, while scrolling through my Facebook Newsfeed, I stumbled upon a highlight video SwitchUp Media had done for a wedding with one of my friends in it. Their work made my heart race and after researching their website and following their work, I just HAD to have them capture mine! Best. Decision. Ever. Tyler and Jason treated our wedding day with adept expertise and professionalism and in turn made us, our wedding party and our guests feel respected and special. They are also just naturally fun guys to be around and are great at interacting with the bride and groom, wedding party and guests. I had several people comment on how well they presented and handled themselves and also had a friend ask them to do the videography for her wedding. SwitchUp Media is transparent about their pricing (which is so decent and unique of them when I think back on all of my vendors) and you are paying so much less for how much they give you. I mean, you get TWO videographers who are with you ALL day (they stayed at our wedding longer than our photographers did) and they took hours of footage, captured incredible shots, and then they edited it down into a priceless memory with a beautiful highlight video and DVD of the entire day. And I just got the basic package! These guys offer so much more and can and will do so much for you. The day we got our highlight video back I think I watched it 100 times. They really take the time to capture the "feel" of your wedding and are spot on. I love watching all the highlight videos they have done because they all give you a really good feeling which I also feel is testimony to their character. Although they have an email address and phone, they rarely responded and when they did it was usually via messages on Facebook. We were told our video would take 3 to 4 months and we got our video after nearly 6 months with zero communication about the delay. We had to contact them to find out where our video was and why it wasn't done. They are very creative and passionate about their videos but lack a good business sense and professionalism.

I had 41 reels of super 8 mm film covering 7 years of my family from my toddler sons, my deceased…read moremother and father, deceased brother, long passed grandmothers and great grandmothers. These memories are important to me and I wanted my grandsons to be able to see and know a little about their family who are no longer around except in our stories about them. I didn't want to lose those images. As I checked out the companies that convert 8 mm film to DVD and digital formats I found most companies send the film to out of state locations to be processed and yes they said, occasionally we lose some of them. They also take all the reels and cut and splice them into one big reel so it cuts down on their conversion time. What would I do with one long reel of film? I could never view them again on a home projector. I didn't want the reels cut or spliced. They also didn't have time to discuss what the end result would look like. I found Shramek's Video productions. Grant talked to me over the phone and answered all my concerns and questions. He invited me to come in and see the process. All the film would be there, locally, in good hands. I did go in. Grant showed me the process and what the final result would look like. Grant took whatever time it took to answer all my questions. I felt assured my memories would be in good hands. Two weeks later he called and invited me to come down and look at the results. I was amazed. These films were 40 years old! The video result was far and away clearer and better than I had ever seen the images or expected. Grant offered me the time and opportunity to review all of the film and change the order of the 41 films to make sure they were in the order I wanted. I was more than satisfied. He handed me the 41 reels just as I had left them with him. I still have the wonderful memories preserved. No cutting or splicing, not lost in the mail. My wife and I watched all of the digitized results. My whole family sat down and watched the DVD, not a dry eye in the crowd. Memories of wonderful parents and great memories. What a great family blessing to have these memories in a format my sons, grandsons, nieces and nephews can view their deceased parents and grand parents anytime. I couldn't be more pleased with the result and am very grateful for the time and effort of the whole staff at Shramek's Video. They went to extraordinary effort to ensure I was happy with the result. Their patience and expertise was a blessing to me and my family. I wish them well in helping other families share the joy and wonderful memories of their loved ones.
