I had the chicken pesto sandwich on an everything roll. Everything was fresh and high quality. It took about 10-15 minutes to get the sandwich made. There are two picnic tables to sit at that are covered. They have baked goods. I asked for some water in my cup and they said they have no tap water! There is a public restroom behind the building.

Connie's Bakery also offers some delicious sandwiches - who knew. Each is made on the spot which gives you a custom sandwich and the makers are laid back. Service is quick and there is a bakery ambiance - but not much room to consume as this is a tiny place. Overall, a good find.

Brussels sprout and Brie scramble

Connie's Bakery + Cafe was a sweet and delicious way to start off a beautiful day in Provincetown. The interior was bright, welcoming, but small. Although we came for breakfast sandwiches, we were overwhelmed by the menu layout and instead opted for scrambles. Our party got the lox and goat cheese scramble and the brie and Brussel sprout scramble. The lox and goat cheese scramble was an insanely delicious flavor combination, however, I wish there had been more egg. The portion size was small. Still, layering the delectable concoction atop the bread made for a memorable bite. The Brie and brussel sprout scramble went crazy in the paint. The sprouts were well cooked and the brie was a perfect fit for the meal. I wish there would've been more toast, as it was delicious. The serve yourself coffee was a great option, and we appreciated the ability to doctor our own coffee combinations. We were especially grateful for the several varieties of milk available for use. The outdoor seating area, including the picnic tables (hidden in the back) were great for a meal during a sunny morning. Also, shoutout to the women who were gossiping in the kitchen who added some additional flavor to our morning. Overall, 4.5/5.

Bagel with vegan cream cheese. Dry but overall delicious!
Pam T.

Lots of vegan options (though the large upcharges made us skip the vegan egg sandwich)! The chocolate banana bread was good but dry, and the bagels were pretty good (also somewhat dry) despite not being anywhere near NYC. We had ours with vegan cream cheese, which was excellent (!) but not as generous as you'd get in a bagel shop. Particularly around the edges there was not a lot. But overall, my advice is to ask which bakery is fresh and get that, and give the bagels a shot! Staff were nice and answered our questions without getting annoyed :)

I'd give Connie's a 4 star if the staff acted like they gave a jolly rat's azz that you cared enough to patronize their establishment. August-tis or not, when I come in with hurting knees and can smile at YOU while I give YOU .... MY hard earned money...I think I deserve something a bit more than surliness and a face that would turn milk sour. I mean, downright nasty faces. Two days I visited and the same incredibly unfriendly greeting. It seems though, that the woman could crack a smile to her friend whom she waited on while I was there. Hmmm. Hint: Make a beeline for the day old goods first. That way the surly staff will be a bit easier to swallow with your baked goods.

Breakfast in a box
Jody W.

There's always something at Connie's that will derail your diet. Cookies? Cakes? Breads? Giant cinnamon roll? Yes! To all of it! Want a great quick breakfast sandwich or something that actually has no carbs? You can get that here, too. I had a simple egg and cheese sandwich served on a multigrain roll and my companion had the "breakfast in a box" (no carbs!). Everything was cooked fresh to order, served piping hot and very quickly. Perfect fuel for the insane (multi mile)walk all over the bike trails that followed breakfast. I'll be back for one of those cinnamon rolls, though!

Great bagels and service?

Bagels are decent (given we are out of the NYC radius) and we liked ours. Service is great :)

I usually pick up a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie because hello it's delish and a bargain at $2.50, today I grabbed a turkey club to fuel my shopping. It was so good, they roast the turkey so it's top notch. I've been stopping through this wonderful business for more years than I'd like to mention! Like I mentioned at the beginning it's my GO TO en route out of town. The vibe is always chill and the chairs are comfy. I wish I took a picture but alas I didn't was getting outta town before the change over crowd arrived.

I was actually heading out of PTown and a bartender recommended this spot so I could grab some food…read morefor the road. (He recommended this the night before. I did not go from the bar to the market). There's limited parking right along the side of the market. There's other parking in that gravel lot on the left side, but that's a paid day parking lot. The gentleman working actually let me park for a hot minute since I was just running in and out. Small market but has seating at the front if you'd like to dine in. So here's the deal for my anxiety ridden friends: - If you want a sandwich, walk in to where you see the chalk boards with the sandwich selections and there's an Order Here spot on the left. Order your sandwich and they give you a buzzer that will tell you when your sandwich is ready and receipt to take to the front. - Now you can (or prior to ordering) gather all your other goods. There's prepackaged foods/meals right next to the sandwich area. In the back is more beer/wine and other eats. - Once you grab everything you want, go to the front and pay. They'll give you a receipt to use to pick up your sandwich. Buzzer goes off, you go get the sandwich w buzzer and receipt - they put it on the counter below the sandwich chalk boards and give buzzer back. - There are napkins, condiments and utensils in the middle you can grab as well. I went during the cuff of off season, so it wasn't too crazy in there, but during on season - I'm sure it can be crazy since it's smaller. So hopefully the ordering instructions help. Oh. And sandwich was bomb. Grabbed a bag of pickle chips too and pasta salad. It was definitely the right choice.

If you're in Provincetown, don't make the mistake of leaving without stopping at Relish…read more Yes, the sandwiches are excellent and the bakery is full of tempting treats, but the real surprise is the cupcakes. They are, quite simply, the best I've ever had. What makes them so special? They're not trying to reinvent the cupcake. They are honoring what the cupcake is -- they're simple, rich, and taste like the very best version of what a cupcake should be. Usually it's chocolate or vanilla cake paired with vanilla buttercream or a wonderfully fudgy chocolate buttercream. No exotic ingredients. No gimmicks. Just the magic that happens when classic flavors are made exceptionally well. No surprises. Just delicious. I've had cupcakes from plenty of other places that have built their reputations around them. Relish surpasses them all. That's not hometown enthusiasm talking nor is it a tourists "happy place" pink cloud fever dream. It's just the truth. One tip for fellow cupcake lovers: if you arrive hoping for a particular flavor combination and they're sold out, don't be disappointed. Instead, order ahead. Whether it's four, six, or a dozen of your favorite, just ask. They'll do their best to make your cupcake dreams come true, and you'll avoid the heartbreak of seeing the last chocolate-frosted one disappear before your eyes. If cupcakes had a Hall of Fame, Relish would be in it. Go for lunch, but save room for dessert. You'll be talking about those cupcakes long after you've left Provincetown.

It wasn't cheap but everything was well made with quality ingredients. The tomatoes were my favorite...they were in something like an oil and balsamic dressing. So good!
