I inherited my large water oak when I bought my home, and little did I know that I inherited all its problems as well. In 2021, after Hurricane Ida, another company told me my tree was dying, but rather than explain what that meant, they gladly trimmed a few branches at the cost of an arm and a leg. 2 years later, while sitting in my backyard, a huge branch snapped and remained dangling above my neighbor's yard. I called Robert from Louisiana Tree Company, and he was at my house within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He diagnosed the problem - the tree was rotting and had lived to the end of its lifespan. By the end of the same day, he sent a quote and even offered to cut the dangling branch down the next day. He also offered to get all the branches off before hurricane season and take the trunk down after hurricane season, to ensure the branches didn't snap off during a storm and gave the option to make two separate (very reasonable) payments. Once I agreed, Louisiana Tree Company was out at my house at the time they said they would be and got the job done safely and perfectly in 5 hours. I have called many tree companies over the past 3 years, and most of them are flaky, give a quote, and never call back. This company is a cut above the rest!!

Especially a tree that no one wanted to touch because it is between a power line, a swimming pool, a fence and a shed. Everyone backed away or over quoted us. Not Robert. He has a can - do super hero attitude. He has the confidence and experience to back it up. His quote was reasonable and he stayed in touch with us throughout the challenging process. First entergy had to come out to assess, that took about a week to get scheduled, then a first ever June hurricane decided to hit and pushed some jobs back, but Robert stayed on top of things and stayed in touch. He also emailed us his insurance info and certification. He is an arborist and licensed and he has no problem explaining everything. It took about 1.5 weeks for everything to be completed with all the crazy curve balls. His expert problem solving skills and dealing with such a dangerously located tree such as ours while keeping his sense of humor, remaining cool and professional throughout it all. His crew were equally brilliant and I am glad they weren't easily scared off to take on such a monster project. I couldn't have asked for better service. The crew was skilled and respectful of property. That, I was very happy with. This was a good size job, but Steve had each worker synced with the other that, it was all made to look easy. There were no men sitting around smoking and doing little of nothing. Everyone worked. Steve had every bit of equipment and/or tools he needed for the job. That was another great point for his business. He was also accommodating when asked questions. Consumers are very cautious. The furrows on my forehead slowly disappeared as the day came to an end. After a few questions and 2-3 times checking n how things were going and how everything looked, the furrows disappeared completely. Steve disclosed how much he appreciates his wife's work in the business. He says his wife (Elizabeth)is a master on the bobcat and with the business overall. They responded and said they would arrive by 9:00 am. I was relieved because I could the issue addressed immediately. However, at 9:30 am, they still hadn't shown up. I called them again, but there was no answer. By 10:00 am, still nothing. A no call, no show. Completely unprofessional. Stop the false advertising if you can't handle emergencies. At the very least, call to say you can't show up as promised....At this point, I decided to call two other tree service companies. Both companies answered and arrived within two hours of my initial call. One stated that work could begin on Monday, while the other company, offered to start immediately. I am grateful to both companies for their prompt response and service. Armstrong Tree Service, on the other hand, left me disappointed and frustrated. Do not waste your time or money with them!!!
