My son attended the VPK program and got bullied everyday for the first week. Why do you have a waitlist, but allow BAD kids to stay enrolled. Why don't you use common sense and allow other children an education by removing the troubled students. My kid was there to learn! This place has zero structure, zero capabilities to adequately teach children let alone be trusted to watch over them. The teachers are rude and snappy. They served my son juice and outdoor water from the fountain on the playground. My son has never had juice, it's terrible for Childrens dental health, and the tap water in this area is hazardous you can't drink it! I would avoid this place. Do better

At 18 months, he knows his colors, numbers, many letters, animals, vehicles, foods, body parts, nursery rhymes with hand motions, and signs for words like "more" and "help." We are constantly noticing new things he knows that we realize he learned at school. One experience recently really showed us just how much they are teaching him. We took him to the zoo, and he was SO excited to point out and name all of the animals he recognized -- elephants, giraffes, lions, monkeys, kangaroos, alligators, turtles, fish, and so many more. He was also making different hand gestures for several of the animals. We thought he was just being cute and were cracking up watching him, but later I learned that he was actually using the sign language he had been taught at school for animals like giraffe, elephant, and lion! It made his experience at the zoo so much more interactive and engaging, and we were genuinely amazed. That is just one example of the things we see him bring home from TLE every day. They teach concepts like hot and cold, up and down, songs and signs, language, and so much more. Just as importantly, we can tell that his teachers and the staff are focused on helping the children develop socially, learn manners, and become more independent. We also really appreciate the healthy, nutritious meals they provide. Most importantly, I feel comfortable dropping my son off every morning knowing he is being cared for, engaged, and taught throughout the day -- and he genuinely loves going to school. We are incredibly grateful for his teachers and everyone at TLE Apollo Beach. It is such a good feeling to see firsthand how much he is learning and to know that the people caring for him every day are putting so much into his development. I'm very disappointed with our overall experience and especially with how our account and refund…read morerequest have been handled. There were several concerns during our time at this daycare. We experienced situations where teachers were yelling at children, as well as concerns about adequate supervision. On multiple occasions, my child came home with bite marks. I understand that accidents can happen in a childcare setting, but repeated incidents raised concerns for us about supervision and how these situations were being handled. We also had concerns with classroom management and communication. At one point, my child became so uncomfortable that he was crying and saying he was scared to go to daycare. We ultimately requested a classroom change, and our experience improved significantly with different teachers. We had some wonderful teachers who were kind and caring, and we appreciated them very much. Unfortunately, our most recent issue has been financial. We provided more than the required two-week notice and were previously given a $260 vacation credit for two weeks our child was absent in March. Based on the attendance, tuition, credit, and payments made, there appears to be an overpayment of approximately $256.41. I have provided the daycare with a detailed explanation and calculation and have repeatedly tried to resolve this directly. I have also specifically requested an explanation from the regional director regarding why this matter has not been addressed. I was told by the school director that the regional director has access to all of my emails and the relevant Procare information, yet she has not addressed the matter with me directly. What is particularly frustrating is that I was told by Mrs. Kayla that she believes I am simply asking for a refund of an unused vacation credit. That is not what I am requesting. The $260 vacation credit was already applied to my account and was part of the calculation when determining what I owed. The issue is the resulting account balance and apparent overpayment after applying the credit and accounting for the days my child actually attended. If the regional director has reviewed the emails and Procare records, I would expect the information to clearly show what I am actually disputing. I have asked for a straightforward explanation of how the final balance was calculated, but I have yet to receive one. I even offered an alternative resolution--using the amount toward several days of individual care if issuing a refund was administratively difficult. Overall, our experience has been very mixed. We had teachers who genuinely cared about our child, and we are grateful for them. However, the concerns regarding supervision, repeated biting incidents, teachers yelling at children, communication, and now the handling of an apparent overpayment have left us very disappointed. I'm sharing our experience so other parents can make an informed decision and, importantly, carefully keep track of attendance, payments, credits, and communications regarding their child's care. I will update when I hear back from the Regional Director about the refund.

In the 15 months he's been there, he's knows his ABC's both upper and lower case, and the sounds most letters make. He can count up to at least 30. He knows so many colors and shapes (some I couldn't even remember the proper name of). Best of all, he loves this place and so do I.
