Drove from Kokomo Indiana to check out this and one other winery in our neighbor to the east. Good selection of wines and a cozy atmosphere inside and out. Really liked how the brick pizza oven was in the outdoor seating area. The aroma is mesmerizing.

When I can't decide between the number of stars I always consult with my hubby.....so in this case my hubby said 4 and I said 3. So here we are. HIs reasoning? He enjoyed their wines and their beers. 4 stars in his eyes. Good to know. My reasoning? Well it was a nice spot. Their outdoor patio area was awesome. The inside was a little small and that's ok but the animals on the wall is off putting. In any circumstance when you're eating. Just wasn't sure what look they were going for but for a winery, it seemed very discombobulated. The peach wine was described as "taking a bite right out of a peach." Uh, nope. The labels are cute and if I'm recommending a wine it would 100% be the lime. I don't even know what made me try it but oh YEA! This is a keeper. Why can't I think of the name of it?!? Don't get me wrong, I'm not fooled by the wineries that their prices represent how much they spent on their lawn furniture and that reflects in my other reviews; but boozie gummies on the counter? eh. Who are we attracting here? Cute place. Wouldn't go out of my wine to go back

Firstly, I'd like to state I might be slightly biased, because I have worked here as a waitress. BUT...let me say this is one amazing establishment with amazing owners. Not only are they extremely hard-working and passionate about what they do, but they are also very down-to-earth people and do their best to make everyone feel at home when visiting. The dining on the patio is relaxing and has a homey feel, it's a great place to hang out and relax with a glass of wine/beer with your friends and family. The dining room inside is small, but can still hold a decent sized party of people and I'm positive you'll be amused by the plethora of funny signs and decor they have. It's a rustic aesthetic, and they do have taxidermy which isn't always something people enjoy, but I think it goes well with the vibe of the place and really shows the personality of the owners. The menu is simple, they have pizzas and do a pizza of the month which is always a crazy pizza you'd never had thought of, yet they are always so delicious. They offer a "sammich" and a couple different appetizers. The pizzas are wood-brick oven and are delicious. Each and every one is made with care. They are very particular on how things are done. Which brings me to the wine and beer. I've never been much for wine or beer, but since working here, I have so much more knowledge and appreciation for the craft. They have mostly sweet wines, which are more my speed than dry, but they offer 4 dry and 2 semi sweet currently. And don't even get me STARTED on the wine slushees!!! They are SO good! Only offered in the summer months, so make sure you get out there for one. The other really cool thing about this place is their newest addition, their dog dock-diving league! They have a dock-diving pool and host league meets and events that are open to the public to enjoy. Beer and wine have been served out by the pool as well as hot dogs and brats. You can find all their information and event dates on The Flying Carnage Dock Diving Facebook page. Overall, AR winery is a wonderful place to go, it's a local small business that knows what they are doing! I will forever support them, not only because it's a great place, but like I said, it's owned by great people. (photo is of my favorite wine flavor and favorite decoration)
