Horrible experience. Big Liar. Never ever hire her.On April 22, 2017 I hire Kelly Badger, Kelly…read moreBadger Photography take my daughters senior pictures. I wrote her a check that day for half of it which was $125.00 and the other half will be paid when the photos was handed to me. I asked Kelly deposit the check the next following Friday when I got paid, which it was April 28, 2017 and she said okay. We scheduled my daughter photo shoot at 5:30pm on April 30, 2017 in Woodlands, Texas. All that weekend i bought alot of things for her shoot such shoes, clothes, getting hair done, makeup done buying props for the seniors pictures. It was a lot to be done. April 30, 2017 the photo shoot went well. I asked Kelly can she send me four photos so my job can customized her invitations and it will take two weeks to get the invitations back. She told me she would send the four photos but when she did it was low resolution so it can't be printed out. Kelly told me that she can send me the invoice for the other $125.00 so She can have my pictures back by Wednesday (May 3, 2017). She sent me the invoice for $125.00 thru PayPal on Monday, May 1,2017. She called me and told on Monday my check was no good that i gave her on April 22, 2017. I told her that was impossible. I called my credit union and there was some fraudulent activities on my account on Saturday April 29, 2017. I called Kelly back and text her and told her what happened to my account and will have your money on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She said she would send me a different invoice through PayPal for the whole entire amount, which it was $250.00 I got up the next morning got to work on May 2, 2017(Tuesday) and approximately at 10: 28am I paid the invoice through PayPal for the full amount through my debit card. When PayPal sent me my email stated the transaction was completed. I screen shot it to her to let her know it was done that she can send me my daughter senior pictures. I sent over two different emails stated she has her money. She text me back and said " I see no funds in my PayPal. will call PayPal and see if I can find out what the issue is." I told her it was there and I need my daughter photos. I told her it was out of my account. Kelly texted and told me " PayPal has informed me that your payment will not clear until after May 23rd for some reason, so in order for me to process your photos and send the images on a rush tomorrow, I will need to be paid in full with a cashier check today. Thank you." I flipped out and I was like wait a minute you have your money. She kept telling me she doesn't. I called PayPal asked about the transaction and Chris told me that she does have her money and the reason why it's a 21 day hold on the money is because Kelly Badger Photography is new to PayPal and its always a hold no matter what. Kelly never informed me it was a hold on her business account or gave me an option to go get her a cashier check so I can have the pictures that day. Her text was " Either way, I cannot release any images to you until I have the payment cleared into my account (but this is all her fought not putting it into her contract and not letting her client no about the 2l day hold). I understand you need these photos on a rush, and I'm more than happy to do that for you. But I cannot release anything to you until I have been paid, As I never got a full down payment from you either. If you would like these photos by Wednesday (May3.2017) as we discussed, you may bring me the $250.00 in cash or a cashier check today. If you choose to go this route, we can cancel the PayPal payment all together after I've received the funds from you. Thank you." i told her i wasn't about to pay her double if she already have the money from me and PayPal. Kelly Badger didn't read her disclaimer with PayPal stating her new business account. Then I told her she wanted to do this PayPal invoice not me and why did she tell me that she has a new business account with PayPal and I could have paid her cash. Then she text me "You can cancel the PayPal Payment and pay me cash." I called and talked to Lynn at PayPal and explain the urgency of my daughter senior pictures and she put a favorite in and switches the hold on the payment from 21 to 7 day hold which it would be May 9, 2017 when her money will be off hold. Kelly still wouldn't release my daughter's Senior pictures. PayPal told me I couldn't canceled the payment because it was in Kelly Badger Photography's possession. She has to cancel it. I was texting her and telling what she need to do. She text me and told me "I am in class until 4:30 pm. I will address this with after." She called me about 4:42pm and I told her I will called PayPal on three-way and we going to get to the bottom of this. We got Chris back on the phone from PayPal and I start talking explaining to him I have Kelly Badger on the phone. Chris told Kelly that the payment has successfully went through and you can release the photos to Terri Ri

I found this person on groupon. I was actually looking for the company that took my outdoor family…read morepictures 3 years ago but unfortunately I could not find that company :( I searched for reviews on the the photographer online before I committed but unfortunately I could not find any, so I decided to take a chance and go for it. I did notice a few red flags but she seemed nice and I figured, why not give her a chance? When I first contacted her, I asked her if her groupon or her facebook special was a better value and she suggested that her facebook special was better which was $100, 45 min 20-30 images. I agreed, booked, and paid. We also agreed on a location that she choose based on my requirements (outdoors and near water) The night (10:27pm) before the shoot she sent me a message saying that we should switch locations and/or the time of the shoot because of the sun. I was really confused and upset because she choose the location and said she had shot their many times. Didn't you already know the sun would be an issue, why are you telling me this the night before??? She suggested moving to a location without water which I had already told her that a location with water was a non-negotiable or moving the shoot 3 hours back. She eventually agreed to keep the shoot at the same time and location b/c the weather report was suggesting an overcast. The shoot went relatively well, but I was very disappointed at her lack of creativity. We got very few poses and there were several shots with small things that I feel the photographer should have noticed and told us fix (ex. my husband's (transition) glasses were tinted or the way feet were positioned). After the shoot, I asked her when the photos would be ready and she said tomorrow. The next day, my husband went to get the CD and it would not work, I tried it on multiple devices and told her and she suggested it was my problem and not hers. She said she would email them (and she did), but not all of them. ((Up until this point I would give her 2 stars)) I then asked when I would get the rest of them and she went on a very long rant about how she had gone above and beyond for me and how she needed take care of her 6 kids, husband, etc. A few days later, I messaged her again and let her know I still had not gotten the rest of my pics. She finally did send them. In conclusion, her photography skills are mediocre. I put too much time, energy, and money into this shoot and I was unhappy with the final product. She sent me several pictures that I could not use, pictures with poor lighting, and pictures that needed editing. Now I need to find someone to help me edit the pictures as I am absolutely done dealing with her. I would not use her again or recommend. Her customer service skills are horrible. I will not recommend.

I stumbled up Knightly Photography in 2015 through a Facebook group. I took a chance and figured…read morethe price was right with so many other holiday expenses. Family photos are always a stressful experience for me, trying to get children ready, keep them clean, and get 4 young children to smile and focus. This photographer managed to capture beautiful photos of my children that showed their individual personalities. I love how patient she was with my busy 2 year old twins and managed to get amazing shots even with them running away from the camera. She took individuals of each person, mom with girls, dad with son, mom and dad, family, etc. I was promised 7-10 digital images and was provided so many more. We originally signed up for a 10-15 minute mini-session that turned into an hour long session at no extra charge. This year (2016) we chose to use Knightly Photography again. Once again she did not disappoint. She is the most patient photographer I have ever dealt with. She makes a usually stressful experience easy on mom. No other photographer gives you more photos than promised and gets them to you the next day. I admit she does not do extensive editing, but I like the fact that my pictures represent what we actually look like. I like that she captures my kids being kids and not posed statues. She has always been extremely flexible and honest with me about location and lighting. I was promised an email with pictures the next day, but was contacted by the photographer who explained that there were so many good ones she wanted to meet me and give me a disk with all the photos instead of emailing a few. This was not at all an inconvenience since she was going above and beyond to give me more than I asked for and even paid for. If you are looking for a photographer who will pose you and do extensive editing, this may not be the photographer for you. If you are looking for someone who loves children and photographs them doing what they do best (being kids), someone who will spend as much time with your family to get the shot vs. telling you your 10 minutes is up, and someone who gives you so many photos at a reasonable price then this is definitely the photographer for you. I have referred her and know the families I referred have been as happy with the results as I have been. Knightly Photography will taking my family photos for years to come.

I was able to book a session that worked for my family. She had partnered up with a nice backdrop location in town that I had never heard of. On the day of the shoot we pulled up to the location and it seems a bit seedy but we saw other families parking as well. Once inside she was booked solid. All good signs. She worked with our family and even though our kids cried a lot she was able to capture a few good shots for our Christmas cards. He sets a very firm timeline of expectations.
