They're SO grumpy and rude, regardless of how polite you are. Our experience at Le Rendez Vous was the opposite of this. All of the staff was incredible: pro-active, polite, calm and helpful- it was by far our best experience at a restaurant in France. The quality of the staff was complemented by the quality of the food. Some of the best food we had while on our trip. The desserts are very generous. The environment and ambiance of the restaurant also contributed to our excellent experience. From reservation to receipt, our experience was top tier. I could not recommend more!

Everything was slower, less natural and somehow unhappy. Maybe serving tourists for low pay isn't fun, but neither is being a tourist being served by people who are clearly not happy in their job Last note- our server essentially ignored us after we ordered. If you eat here be prepared to fight for anything you need after your initial order. That includes getting and being able to pay the bill
