-0 RATING!! LONG REVIEW BUT PLEASE READ!!! WORST experience I've ever had!!! Tow truck driver was extremely rude and was arguing with me on phone calls and after finally showing up after I had been stranded from a blow out on the side of the interstate for over 3 hours. Kept arguing constantly that I wasn't where I kept saying I was, after I repeatedly gave proper location multiple times to insurance,dispatcher, and him. DOT had even stopped to check on me and confirmed I was giving correct location and directions as DOT was right there when I was on the phone with tow truck driver. He acted like he was just going to leave me sitting there and had even marked on the app that he had arrived when he hadn't and I had to call the dispatcher all stressed out bc of what he was doing on top of already being stressed out from being stranded on an extremely busy interstate in a very dangerous location for HOURS. NOBODY SHOULD EVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH BEING TREATED LIKE THIS!! Once he finally arrived he CONTINUED his behavior of arguing with me in the tow truck arguing that I didn't give the proper directions and location. No one should ever feel so uncomfortable and stressed out and put in a position as I was put in yesterday from ANY company especially a tow truck company that is on a call for a "RESCUE". I wish they would've sent a different driver after I had already called and told them what he was doing and how he was acting..and since while he was arguing with me n said "I got the whole thing recorded" I HOPE the owner sees this and asks for that recording and listens to everything on how this guy talked to and treated me and that I did in fact give proper directions and he just wasn't listening or even trying to understand what I was saying. It even shows my location on the app of where I was at for goodness sake and the dispatcher even confirmed I said proper location as well. I also want to note a comment he made that was very inappropriate and I hope that's on his "recording" also!!. Even after he had been told multiple times where I was headed when I had the blowout, he asked me again in the tow truck where I was headed and again I told him to fairburn to my dad's house. He asked me did my dad know I was coming or something like that and I said no my dad passed away and his response was "oh OK so he's"dead" then...I mean seriously??!! Who the hell says something like that!!!??? Very callous comment!! Extremely unprofessional driver and I did NOT feel safe with him AT ALL!!! Something very wrong with that guy!! Never in my life have I ever thought about or wanted to jump out of a moving vehicle like I did yesterday bc of this driver and his behavior and making me such a nervous wreck!!! read more

The lady they have answering the phones is rude and has no bedside manners.If it wasn't for us needed a tow truck since no other companies near the area answered, we would have definitely not gone with this company.If you hate your job so much why not find another job?Anyway,The person who came and picked up the vehicle was very friendly only reason I'm giving this company 3 stars. read more

I was backing out of a parking space and when I tried to put it into drive the linkage slipped off. Frank saw me struggling trying to get it fixed and came over to help. He was very knowledgeable and quite creative to get it repaired enough so I could make it to the repair shop. Even though he could have just towed me, he spent over a half hour to get me going and wouldn't take payment. With a nice attitude and friendly smile it was refreshing to find someone that likes what they are doing and will go the extra mile for even people that aren't his customers, I will be using him from now on, Gratefully Tim read more

Car was taken here after accident. This is the most backwoods, unprofessional and rude place I've ever had to deal with. The receptionist/office woman was extremely rude while I was paying...in CASH! Then the guy who walked us back to the car was trying to pull some shady crap and do things on the 'low'. We weren't allowed to bring our trailer down to load the car.... luckily it still ran so we limped it to a turning lane down the street from the place so we could load it on the trailer. My daughter's car broke down on Spence Rd . When we returned to pick it up it the next day it had been impounded. We contacted APlus 10 minutes after closing on Saturday. Angie answered the phone confirmed she had the vehicle and informed us they had closed for the day . I explained we were at the police department and just realized the car was impounded and she offered to stay until we could arrive . My brother owns a roll back and had accompanied us to bring the vehicle home . The lot personnel were very friendly and explained all the charges . They really made a difference in what could have been more costly experience since I it was a holiday weekend ! In today's world of customer no service it was nice to be treated nicely ! "F-" is more like it. Avoid this company at all costs. The original ETA for towing was 70 minutes from the time of my first call. The tow truck eventually showed up...five and a half hours later. That's not a typo. They were 5+ hours late. A+ Roadside provides roadside service as a subcontractor for USAA. Here is my experience: I had a flat tire and pulled into the local QuickTrip. I placed a call for roadside assistance at 6:00PM on a Sunday. I was given an ETA of 70 minutes. Not ideal, but hey, it's Sunday. 730PM came and went. I called and was told they were running late, 30 minutes away...which would mean around 8:00PM. I had a meeting to get, to so I was told I could leave my keys under the driver's side floor mat. I was told I receive a confirmation call once the vehicle had been picked up. I called at 9:30PM and was told the tow truck was five minutes away. I called again at 10:30PM and was told...guess what? The tow truck was five minutes away. It is now 11:30PM, and I just spoke to the towing agent. He just now picked up the vehicle...meaning it was left sitting unlocked in a public place for 4 hours. The towing agent said he only received the job notification at 11:00PM. I have no way to know if that's true or not...but no matter how you slice it...calling for a tow at 6PM and having to wait until 11:30PM...five and half hours with no contact from the company whatsoever...is about as unacceptable as it gets. If your own insurance company uses third-party towers in the Atlanta area, I suggest you ask which company they are using. If they mention A+ Towing...you'd best demand an alternative...or resign yourself to wasting massive amounts of your own time, and putting your car in the care of a company that cannot be bothered to A) provide accurate information, or B) contact you at all. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

My son and me got stranded on I-85 after getting bad gas at the Chevron at the exit of Hwy 74. After an hour and 5 calls with AAA just for them to figure out what state we were in and where we were, we were told the wait would be 2 1/2 hours for a truck. I called A Plus and the dispatcher answered the phone right away. And the truck arrived within 15 minutes!! Our driver Andy was great. He took great care of us and our car. His help went beyond what we would have hoped for. A-Plus came through in an a-plus way. read more

My elderly aunt had a great experience with this company. She broke down late at night and was scared (she was in an area that had bad lighting)and the dispatcher kept calling to check on her ,giving her updates on the drivers location as he made his way to her . Worst experience I ever had.. They basically stole my vehicle by charging so much per day, despite my request for my vehicle to be taken to my property. I wound up having to turn it over to them, because they had posession of it, and I refused to pay impound fees, after I told them to take it home, not there.. DON'T TRUST THEM!!! read more

Charged nearly 50 percent more than the estimate from the first tow company I called (which couldn't get there) (to tow vehicle about a mile and a half). Then the tow truck driver had the vehicle hanging from its front bumper from the bed of the truck as he was unloading it, damaging the bumper. Was standing right there but the driver did not stop, and kept damaging the car. Then the driver couldn't figure out how to charge me, and made me call the dispatcher, who kept me on hold for about 5 minutes while she tried to figure it out. This is the worst towing/impound company I have ever dealt with,I was visiting with my friend in fairburn GA and I came out to look if one of my friend was out in the driveway and I did not notice that my car wasn`t in the st parking until I looked back again and she was parked on the spot where I was parked at,I got so nervous thinking that someone stole my my car,I called 911,I was advised that the my car had been impounded by A plus towing.I called them and talking to whomever answered the phone,she was so rude telling me that they had been authorized to tow the car by the fairburn police and I could get it on saturday by 4p.m and pay $140,guess what I get an uber to go the there on Saturday at 2.30,they are closed and as usual they were rude as hell.I go there on Monday at around 10 a.m,they just take cash I had to get an uber to an ATM and back and when I get there,my temporary tag was "bad" "stolen" and an officer took it so my car couldn`t be driven from the property they had to tow it,I had AAA and they were so salty saying that if by 5p.m I don`t have AAA there,I would have to pay another $50 and $15 storage fee,Julia or whatever the receptionist is is a nasty old bitter fat slob and all the other workers are teethless rednecks who referred to me according to the tow truck driver black women with big behinds and probably have a smell to them,these people are dirty old rednecks who are rude to almost everybody especially ti black people and trust me this is not the last they are hearing from me because they ransacked and stole my stuff from my car,put the wrong address of tow on my receipt and am not done with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ended up paying $250 btw read more

I've known this company since I was a baby, my father worked with them for years. They get to you as soon as possible & their ETAs are accurate depending on how far you are & depending on if they have a car on the bed of their truck. Don't be mad if they give you a long ETA its always going to be due to something. Highly recommend relying on this company to help you out!! read more

Best towing experience ever!!!! Chris Thomas was the best!!! I was in a horrible location and he came in less then 20 min and I've been towed from many many towing companies and never have I waited 20 mins it has always been over 1hr an half...He arrived promptly and immediately he wanted to make sure I was safe in his truck being I was on the side of the interstate...overall the experience was wonderful having your car unexpectedly brake down on the side of the hwy is never good but Chris hospitality made me feel a lot better about my situation simply the convo we had on the drive simply ease my mind...Definitely will only use there company if im on the south side again!! read more

This service is the worst. They provide towing for Nissan Roadside assistance but have continuously lied about the eta. I was waiting at a hospital after my husband was discharged post cardiac surgery. I got him home with my teenager but I sat in the Atlanta sun waiting hour after hour. When I called Nissan, they were being fed false information from A Plus... that the "driver had to wait at the gate with the last customer" then "oh he's on 10th street right around the corner"... 15 more minutes... just another 25. When I called A plus themselves the dispatcher shouted at me, basically saying you have two choices... shut up and wait or cancel. My friend is calling AAA right now to see if they deal with more reputable companies. Beware. read more

I am only giving one star because I have to. My husband's truck clutch went out so we needed a tow. I used my roadside assistance through my insurance company. The tow truck driver had a lady and a baby in the cab. The baby was only being held by the mother. He was told by the insurance company as well as me when he called to confirm that there would be 2 riders. He told my husband and I to just ride in the truck being towed. I asked him if that was dangerous and he chuckled and said no. We didn't ride in the truck that was being towed at first, but the truck being towed was bouncing way too much so they got out to adjust it. Then the tow truck driver made my husband ride in the truck being towed. I was charged $4 a mile for this tow PLUS a $3 fee for using my card. I told the person that I had to call to pay what was going on. They didn't really seem to want to fix the problem. I called the next day to speak with a manager and told him. He seemed a little upset. He didn't offer an apology or anything. I would NEVER use them again. UPDATE : I wrote this review on their Facebook page where whoever wrote it flat out lied. He tried to say that the lady in the truck was from an accident, but the lady called him baby, kissed him, and told me that she was pregnant with his next child. Also, the tow truck driver should know FULL WELL that it is illegal to let someone ride in the vehicle being towed. Judging from the other reviews, I wouldn't deal with this place! If I would've known, I would've told my insurance company to find someone else. Super unprofessional!! read more

I am giving this place 1 star because I have to. This place is run by nasty and rude rednecks that don't care about anything except money. They overcharge you and they get away with it because they know that you have to pay otherwise you are not getting your car. If you are involved in an accident do NOT have your car towed. Ok.....my truck stolen from a mechanic shop. The truck was recovered by Fairburn Police. The Police had my truck towed by and to A Plus Towing in Fairburn. I called the impound lot, and was given a quote of $120 CASH to pick it up the next day. Yes, if your vehicle is stolen, you have to pay to get it back. I walked into A+ and the dispatcher, and apparently the owner were in the office. The owner takes my ticket and starts writing on it and adds it up. The total was double the charge I was told. I questioned the extra charges, and he immediately raises his voice, and explains this "wench out" and how bad the conditions were of where they had to pull my truck from a ditch. So, I take out the police report with pictures, and ask what ditch, pics show rear driver tire on the asphalt over the white line. He stated the pics were taken after the "wench out" . Regardless, I was told to bring $120. He called me a crybaby , cussed and yelled. He yelled and talked very ugly to his dispatcher, and told her she would have to pay the difference. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! So, I called the officer that worked the investigation, and had found the truck. The tow truck driver didn't even have to step off of the asphalt to hook my truck. This man is a cheat and has very serious anger issues when you do not allow him to cheat you. I will be contacting an attorney. This man should not be allowed to run a business that serves the public. read more

My 4 year old locked my keys in my 2010 chevy camaro while it was still running it was about 930 pm i called my insurance company who called a towing company who said they would be there in 35 min .... they called my insurance company back 35 min later and told them they could not help me because there was no framing around my window ugh my insurance company said that they were able to get a hold of another company but it would take about an hour, i was a bit upset but thankful so 45 min later i get a call from billy he said he was on his way he did ask if i had framing around the window i told him no, he said it may be a problem but he was around the corner and he would see what he could do. he got to my house very very nice man he was abl;e to get into my window just enough to get the stick in he was able to hit thee window button he was there maby 10 min...
