Estimate seemed reasonable but had some unforeseen circumstances and never had the work done. This summer, knew work couldn't wait and luckily, I had kept his estimate. I called him and instead of being annoyed or rude about me not calling him back last year, he was more than kind and told me I should have called him and at least he could have put something over the fan until it could be replaced. I have to say, his sincerity and concern was refreshing! I am a single woman and have had so many BAD experiences with contractors, it isn't even funny. Mr. Steimer was out within 2 days to reassess the problems and honored the year old original estimate. And then had his workers come out the same day because he said he knew rain was coming. The gentlemen, and I mean gentlemen that came to do the work were kind and hardworking. They worked without much of a break in stifling heat until dark set in, cleaning up as they went and my gutters they had to clean were terrible! Also, they covered the fan before they left just in case it rained before they could return. It was a good thing because it rained all day the next day. The following day, they came out early to replace the fan and finish everything. The rerouted downspouts look great and here's the best thing... I had been up late the night before, and these guys worked quiet as church mice and never woke me while they were working or woke me to pay them! This is class! So as soon as I finish this review I will be calling them so I can compliment and pay them. I don't write a lot of reviews... I even had to buy a magnet roller to clean our yard and driveway. Despite all this, the roof is not complete, and the siding is crooked. They said they got the siding ''straight as they could'' after readjusting multiple times. They also did not hammer in all the nails on the roof. The cherry on top was the bill, which was much higher than the agreed-upon price. I wish I could go back in time and save myself the heartache.

Pittsabana's team is all of this and more! From the first call to receive a free estimate through to completion, Maria, Ivan and the Pittsabana team were a pure delight to work with. Their knowledgeable and professional service made the potential headache of major home repairs dissolve. I initially contracted Pitttsabana to remove the ineffective box gutters from my 1900 home that had been poorly repaired in what some might call a 'fix and flip'. I called for the estimate on a Friday of a holiday weekend and Ivan showed up first thing Monday morning to take drone imaging of the gutters in order to provide the most accurate estimate. I was provided two estimates: one to repair the existing box gutters and another to remove them and install a seamless aluminum gutter system. In the end, I chose the second. However, upon removing the box gutters, Ivan' team gained access to the attic for the first time as I have no internal access and discovered considerable water damage, NO Insulation, and shingles slapped on top of other shingles to hide the actual state of the roof!! (No wonder my gas/electric bills were so high!) Ivan contacted me immediately with images and knowledge of how to go about fixing the roof, and again I was provided with multiple options to choose from. Ivan was willing to come to the house and patiently walk me through my options, explaining the differences between the plans, as much of this was new to me. This allowed me to pick the plan that best fit both my aesthetic and my budget! Ivan's team arrived early every day, worked diligently, and adapted their work schedule to meet the needs of my family (ending earlier than they otherwise would have one day). They thoroughly cleaned the area every day to ensure that my yard was safe for my dogs. AND they went above and beyond, fixing some 'poorly flipped' items they discovered along the way!
