I appreciated that fair honest bid, the other garage door companies were quick to lower there bid to get our business but I didn't like that about those companies. Todd was definitely on top of reaching out to me on how he can earn our business. Once we gave Todd our business, he took the deposit right away but then it was all silence after that. I had to continually reach out to Todd to see what was going on with our garage doors order and the schedule of install and that was frustrating. We finally got our two garage doors installed but they came into a problem with my double door, the eyes at the bottom of the door were not working properly. So the door could open up just fine it just couldn't close and they couldn't figure out why so he said I needed new eyes for the doors and he could come back and do that for me if we wanted him to. I asked him that next day if we could get scheduled for new eyes so I can actually use my door and how much it would cost and his response was this "1 million dollars" that's all he said to me, very unprofessional in my opinion. By the way, my husband was able to look at our garage door eyes and see that the wires just needed to be fixed which we were able to do in 5 mins with the existing wires and now are able to finally use our double door just fine.

The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. Okko at Canyon Overhead doors was very helpful, and was able to find the color and design we wanted, at a very competitive price. We opted for a higher quality door from Martin, and they are very nice. Canyon delivered and installed the doors on schedule. The new openers from LiftMaster are really nice, much quieter than the old chain drive units we had. The wifi capability and improved lights are also a nice touch. We had a small issue with the new seal, but Mike came out the next day and had it all repaired and looking beautiful. It's great to see someone committed to getting the job done right. I expect these doors will last many years, but if we have a need for garage doors in the future, Canyon will be the first firm we call.
