Even though it's located in the same building as her vet's office, my dog runs in the door when she is going to see Katie. I was coming in a out for a few things so I really only noticed the fish & reptile areas. - The fish section of the store seemed to be taken care of pretty well. The tanks were fairly clean and all the fish looked to be in good health. No noticeable fungus or infections on any that I saw. There was an associate bagging fish for a customer and seemed to have a good knowledge base on the fish that the store carried. As for the products, they seemed to have the same brands most of the other stores do with relatively the same price. - The reptile section also seemed to be in good order. As a reptile owner, I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the reptiles had the correct temperature and humidity levels. The animals were all out and about (an employee was feeding them) and they all looked to be very healthy. I talked to the employee who was feeding them and she seemed to know her stuff, I even asked her a few questions (that I already knew the answers to) and was happy to know that she was giving me the correct information. They carried the usual Zoo-Med and Exo-Terra (as well as a few other brands).

I have a…read moreMaine Coon with an incredibly thick coat and a tendency towards deep mats when he does his twice-yearly shed, and Pawfessional is the only place I'll take him to. The staff is friendly, and my cat comes back shampooed, de-matted, and trimmed down. They're always very responsive to any specific grooming requests, and he comes back happy and unharmed, which isn't always the case with other groomers I've taken him to. The facility is small, but the price is frankly cheap for excellent work. They've also been able to get me in very quickly, and they're excellent at doing what they can to accommodate the client's needs involving dropping the pet off and picking it up. I highly recommend them.

I boarded my two healthy dogs for 4 days while going on a trip. I had taken both dogs there prior…read morefor a morning drop off to see if it was a good fit. The morning appt. went fine but the actual boarding ended up being a nightmare. The dogs both smelled DISGUSTING at the time of pick up and they were not acting themselves. When we got them home, one was vomiting for 1 1/2 days and the other had diarrhea for 5 days. Both dogs had to go to the vet and I ended up spending another $320 in vet bills and medication for a a bacterial infection in my dog's intestine. The vet reported that this would have happened if the dog was exposed or ingested to feces that contained the bacteria. I don't usually like to leave a negative review, but I would hate to see other dogs get as sick as mine did.
