I was not super pleased with her last groom as there was a bit of miscommunication, so I reached out with my concerns and they gave me a full grooming service for free. Side note - Jackson and Tatum are amazing!!!

This was actually a cute and cozy room with a TV and music playing as opposed to a kennel. I liked that the room felt very private and they even had a privacy curtain for the door. The noise level in the facility when I toured the place was a lot quieter than other facilities which I also liked. It really felt more like a resort than a boarding facility. I also really appreciated all of the daily pictures that they posted on their facebook page to let me know that my babies were ok. The day after their stay, we took them to the dog park and my youngest baby had clearly gained so much confidence around other dogs. She had been a little stand-offish around other dogs but now she runs around freely and at ease.

I have a reactive pit mix, Mila, who also has some separation anxiety, so I get really nervous…read moreabout how she'll handle being around people when I'm not there to try to keep her chilled out. The first time I brought Mila to Stacy & crew, I was worried she'd raise hell and it would be our last time. Man, was I wrong. They are so good with her, she squeals whenever we pull up to the shop. This girl--who hates getting wet and dryer sounds and who gets stressed around new people--acts like we arrived at the dog park when we roll up to Elgin Grooming & Boarding. She loves them, and she looks and smells fantastic when I get her back. A note on scheduling to wrap this up: I can usually get an appointment within a week, maybe 2 weeks if it's busy, excluding major holidays. But I recognize that fitting my short-haired pit mix into the schedule for a bath & groom is probably easier than a different breed of dog that requires more grooming time. Alright, lemme go make an appointment before I forget.

After reading all of the marvelous online reviews, I paid $3000 for the two week board and train…read moreprogram. It took two months to get my dog worked in with the trainer. At that point, I had pretty reliably taught her to sit, stay, and come. What I really needed was on & off leash heel, lie down, and for her to do all of the aforementioned with distractions. I've had my dog since she was 7 weeks old, she is pure-bred pedigreed Labrador Retriever, sweet tempered and quite bright. No behavioral issues! When I came to pick her up after two weeks, she had learned NO additional skills! She would not heel or lie down, and would not come to me when distracted. I return her to the trainer, and expressed my disappointment, that my $3000 was essentially spent on dog sitting. She took my dog back for an another full week at no additional charge. Afterwards she told me that she received NOTHING from her boss for doing this (the franchise owner) and took my dog back simply because she did not want me to be dissatisfied. She made some progress in that final week, but we still have a loooong way to go. I do not fault the trainer! She did her best and took my dog on for an additional week for free. The company is a franchise. She shared with me that the owner is in Greenville, he is not even a dog trainer (she described him as a businessman), and she has never met him. She also shared that she JUST QUIT! Her issue was that 2 weeks is not enough time to train a dog to do all of this things that they advertise. Customers were regularly upset when their expectations weren't met. It takes at least 4-5 weeks to accomplish good on-leash results, let alone off leash. I feel like "Off-Leash" over promised knowing that they would likely underperform. The franchisee relies on internet marketing, and a slick phone call/email/text sales pitch. Perhaps the other training service are good, because the trainer that I met seemed excellent - but with the 2 week board and train, the trainers are set up to fail. I wouldn't call it a "scam" but from my experience, and that of others I have talked with since then, you are VERY unlikely to be satisfied. There are other operations right here in Lexington that will do board and train for 4-5 weeks, charge about the same, and not make any "off leash promises". That seems much more realistic and honest. Buyer beware!!!

Just finished the 4 week Basic Obedience training with my Labradoodle, Ranger. He is 4 years old…read moreand very energetic. He gets excited around other dogs and loves to meet new people. I've always envied dog owners who could have their dogs in public places and around other dogs without struggling to hold them and not pulling them all over the place. After researching several dog training services, I settled on Off Leash K9 training. Both Nathan and Beth worked with Ranger, and he responded extremely well to their methods and the eCollar, but even more importantly is the time they took with me helping me to understand how to continue the training between lessons. It doesn't matter how well your dog does during your one hour lessons if you are not willing to put in the the time everyday to reinforce the lessons. I would highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training to anyone who wants an obedient dog who is a pleasure to have with you as a companion in any situation. We can now take Ranger to farmer's markets, dog-friendly restaurants, the beach, wherever dogs are welcome. We continue to work on his commands on our evening walks, take him to places that provide distractions so we can get even better at being in those situations, and keep reinforcing his obedience with tons of "Good boy" praises and lots of love. He's happy. We're happy, and so thankful for Nathan and Beth at Off Leash K9 training.

She was fantastic and always willing to do whatever she could. She took such excellent care of him and he never minded going there. My mom also brought her dog Molly there. My mom lives in Hilton head, but was so impressed with the way that Carrie took care of Molly that she did not mind making the drive. Molly went there her entire life up until the day she died and was treated with such love and integrity. Carrie knew that we were traveling pretty far to get there and always try to accommodate us. Once both of our dogs passed away, we quickly rescued another dog. Since we're both staying in Bluffton for the most part, it's a long ride, but we still feel like she is worth it. When you know that your dog is safe and someone's arms and that they are getting the absolute best care it is worth the ride. We just stay a night or two at my house in Chapin. You cannot replicate or fake the kind of human being that she is and I just know that nothing is going to happen but good things to my dog when he is there.
