On the way to exploring the Belém sights, I stopped here for coffee and breakfast. This is a nice bakery and yes, they have some very good coffee. It's a bit off the beaten track for most tourists, so don't expect the folks here to speak great English. That's okay because "espresso" works in just about any language and pointing at something that looks delicious is always acceptable.
Plenty of space inside and there are a bunch of tables outside but someone was smoking quite a bit.
€2.40 for an espresso and a fabulous chocolate croissant. I'm going to be the size of a house when this trip to Lisbon is over.
