When I retrieved my documents there were sticky notes indicating calls, messages and emails stating that I'd never responded - complete fallacy. Worst place ever. The environment was very welcoming and everyone was kind and professional. The staff member who assisted me brought me into her office and we went over my information. At the end of the appointment, I understood that I owed taxes, which was fine. no point during the process were the service fees explained to me. As a first-time filer, I was not expecting to pay $270 upfront for that day's assistance. I believe there should have been clearer communication regarding pricing before completing the service. Greater transparency about fees would have helped me make a more informed decision.
