I can not recommend Amanda with A. Lindahl Creations enough! She was so great to work with. We live in the Detroit area and had planned a summer vacation to Holland; we thought it would be great if our daughter had her senior pictures taken on the beach. After many calls to several photographers, we decided to go with Amanda because she was VERY prompt in responding to my inquiries, offered online proofs (which we needed since we don't live in Holland), and offered the choice of buying the digital images. As it turned out, the weather was so hot while we were in Holland, we had to reschedule our photo shoot because the sand at the beach was too hot to touch. Amanda was so accommodating and moved her own commitments around so that she could photograph our daughter before we left to return to Detroit. She also did an amazing job of capturing our daughter's personality! We are so happy with the end results! Every question that we had along the way (and we had plenty) Amanda answered promptly and was always very, very helpful. I was worried about the distance being an issue since we lived so far away, but that concern turned out to be unfounded. Amanda made every step of the process easy -- the hardest part really was choosing which pictures to order since there were so many beautiful ones to choose from. After coming very highly recommended from others who have had incredible professional photographs taken by Amanda we decided to have our maternity photos taken by her in Sept 2010. FYI, I am a very particular woman to work with ...(so I hear)... Amanda did an amazing job throughout the shoot & Let me just say that not only are the photographs absolutely beautiful, but I was so impressed with her flexibility with scheduling as well as her creative, open minded, can do attitude! She had fantastic ideas, she helped me feel at ease & beautiful throughout the entire process. After the fact, she was always there for us to answer any questions/concerns & work with us in regards to the end result photos. I am always delighted with the work we have had done by Amanda in the past, but then it was always a family member that was her subject...not me. I don't know about you, but I am not the biggest fan of having my photo taken so when I decided to give my husband some tasteful yet elegant photos for Christmas I really was nervous about it. I had this idea in my head of what I wanted, or rather the feeling I wanted conveyed in these photos. I wanted something that my husband would cherish for years to come, even after we are old and wrinkly. From the start, Amanda was so accommodating. She has an amazing studio that was warm and inviting. She offered me a beverage and we sat and discussed what it was that we wanted to accomplish. Amanda listened to me and actually heard me. My 5-year-old daughter and I worked with Amanda after I won a gift certificate for some money off her services. I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough; we were happy with everything every single step of the way. She gave us the most personal service, was very flexible as far as scheduling and shooting, and freely offered her brilliant artistic advice all the way up through the framing process. The website that you choose photos from is easy to use, and she gave us several time extensions when we were lax about deciding on placing a second order. We will certainly go back to Amanda when we need more photos. One of the best things was how she worked with us on my daughter's vision of what her surreal portrait should look like, but we ended up buying both traditional photos as well as a couple not-so-traditional ones. The framed photographs/artwork hanging now on our walls are the result of a wonderful, collaborative project we realized with her as an artist and photographer with vision. read more

Amanda's talents in photography is beyond belief. I have never seen anyone do the things she does with a picture. If you want just a plain portrait she can produce a beautiful portrait. If you want her to use her creative talents then be ready for a beautiful piece of art. She puts children into fairly land scenes, story books, flowers, almost anything. Amanda also has a really nice graduation package. She has the most wonderful talent with a camera that I have ever seen. Amanda is also a very beautiful lady. She is happy, funny and full of life. I've had the pleasure of working with Amanda on multiple occasions. The first time she took my maternity pictures and was very patient with is. We had some unusual ideas and she ran with them, coming up with the best way to show case them! We came back to her after our son was born and this year she did our family Christmas photos. Again her patience was outstanding. Working with babies is always a little tricky since they don't play by everyone else's rules but she was very kind and understand. I booked Amanda in August for a newborn session in October. Amanda was quick to respond to my inquiries and shared her client galleries to give us an idea of how her completed sessions look. All gorgeous! Our son arrived two weeks early and we scheduled to go to A. Lindahl Creations studio when he was four days old. She was amazing to work with and made us all feel completely comfortable while she photographed the little guy. He barely cried during the three hour shoot, she was the ultimate baby whisperer. I met Amanda Lindahl owner and head photographer at A Lindahl creations at a photo booth in West Linn last summer. I looked at the work hanging in her booth and was amazed. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and met up with Amanda far a surreal picture of my daughter. The professionalism and love for creating the custom photo was amazing from amanda and I was blown away by the final product. I later used A lindahl creations for regular portraits of both of my children and a series of family photos. I cannot say enough good things to say about Lindahl Creations. My family never having done professional photography for family photos were blown away with the experience. The patience that the photographer had with our two young children (ages 2 and 1) was a god send. Not always do they listen but she seemed to catch the perfect moments with them.
