While there was a lot of staff turnover at my venue, she relieved my fears and took charge of all day-of timeline and direction. I knew I could trust her to run the show and I was able to really live in the moment of our special day - that alone was worth every penny! I would definitely recommend Erica with Ashley Baber Weddings - we can't thank you enough!

My wedding day was so special, and I owe great thanks to Erica Stawick with Ashley Baber Weddings…read morefor all of her hard work as my planner. Before hiring Erica, my family and I were looking at the long to-do lists and complexities of wedding planning and feeling overwhelmed. From our very first meeting, Erica was reassuring and worked tirelessly to help me find and execute my vision for my wedding. She was never pushy and always flexible to work with credible and trustworthy vendors that she suggested or that my mom and I found independently. Erica was nice but assertive with my wedding party while giving them instructions during the rehearsal, making that process smooth and orderly. She seemed to understand the many pressures and stresses that wedding planning can put on brides and their families, and she respectfully received input and feedback from many stakeholders, and we are a very picky bunch! That said, her main concern was helping me, as the bride, have the wedding I wanted. Thank you Erica for being my planner and helping to make my big day such a wonderful time.

Sierra. Is. The. BEST!!!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how smart, talented, kind, and calming she is!!…read moreFrom day one Sierra went above and beyond with her wedding planning services. We chose the "Just a Scoop" package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn't know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we'll cherish forever! Hiring Sierra is the best choice anyone could make for their wedding experience. Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I'm currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner! Book her ASAP!!

Something strange happened to our Google review so posting it here for posterity…read more Open app Your location Jacob 87 points 3 months ago Our experience with Timeless Events was deeply disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. If we hadn't stepped in and handled planning ourselves, our wedding would have suffered. Heather, the owner, was often unresponsive and difficult to reach. Despite advertising "constant communication with the bride," we struggled to get timely responses during the final month before our wedding, when support matters most. Although we hired Timeless Events to help with planning and coordination, we ended up sourcing every vendor on our own. We were also repeatedly told our deposit would be refunded due to the lack of services provided, but that refund never happened. Only after we canceled did Heather explain she had been dealing with health issues. Had this been communicated earlier, we would have been understanding. Instead, the lack of transparency left us scrambling and under unnecessary stress. This experience did not meet the expectations set by their marketing or contract. We've chosen not to pursue remediation and are focusing on moving forward. We strongly caution future couples, especially nontraditional ones, to carefully consider their options before booking Timeless Events.

Just came here for a wedding and it was really gorgeous…read more PreWedding: The guys get to get ready in the barn and the girls get ready in the beautiful farmhouse. I didn't see the guys' area because I was in the farmhouse with the girls. It was such a cute little house - with 2 large bedrooms, one for the bride and one for the bridal party. Large bathroom connecting the rooms. There was also a sitting room where we were able to take pictures and sit a little before the wedding. There's a beautiful (but small) porch overlooking the front so we did some pictures there but it was small so wasn't ideal for a large group. Wedding: Ceremony took place outside right in front of the farmhouse and it really was scenic with the vineyard being the main view. It was cloudy and rainy when I was there but I can imagine it being magical on a better day. The pic shows about 100 guests but I can imagine it fitting more. It was lovely overall. The cocktail hour was held below the main house and it was a small stand up area. A bar in the corner and barrels for table tops otherwise. It was a bit small but if the day was nicer, we could've moved outside too. I liked the string lights above. The reception was in the main house and it was nicely decorated with string lights above. The place provided mason jars and that added a rustic simple touch to the wedding. There were only 2 bathrooms to be used though so that might not be convenient for a bigger party (I think one got clogged up during the night as well....oops). I was disappointed in the food served here. I didn't particularly liked many of the options - it was buffet style and the food was mostly cold by the time I got to it. I disliked how they did not keep the food warm.... esp. the meats! I liked the Mac & Cheese, flank steak and the cinnamon butter bread. Did not care for the bacon wrapped chicken (too dry), the veggies, and the mashed potatoes. I also did not like how they were skimpy with the food. We were the last table to go and they were still hesitant to give us an extra scoop of food..... After we sat down they announced 2nds for everyone else.... Just give us the food man.... Overall, I think it was a really quaint place to get married. Beautiful scenery (just beware of bad weather and it gets extra windy on the mountain top) and classic farmhouse.

We only looked at a few venues because after meeting Allison who was so relaxed and friendly we felt really comfortable working with her. Besides having someone great to work with the venue is gorgeous. We got very lucky to have a gorgeous day with a backdrop that would be hard to beat. The packing house was transformed into a beautiful reception area. My wife was allowed to get ready in the old farmhouse that is on site and was never rushed and the staff bent over backwards for us on a couple of occasions. There are a ton of beautiful wedding venues around, but I can't imagine any being better to work with.
