No Wifi, but there's great people watching opportunities if you take your meal over to Jackalope and watch all the people from other countries sell their wares to all the tourists from Texas and Oklahoma for their vacation homes... Oh yea, it's near one of the biggest homeless shelters in town, and it's dirt cheap, so be aware of the mid-day drunks. We ended up going there three times during our overnight stay at the Saddle because the food is That Good. The ingredients couldn't have been more fresh, or the prices much lower. What resulted were the best fish tacos I've ever had, coupled with my first taste of lengua tacos, which were also fantastic. The truck may not look very impressive, but do yourself a favor and make a special trip to Jarochos.

Absolutely 5 stars. Nice atmosphere and really nice staff. There are things here that you can't really get anywhere else in Taos and it's all really good. Aly -- you need a larger place -- that kitchen is too small. read more

And the staff were able to suggest a few changes to meet specific tastes. The manager came out within 5 min to tell me I couldn't be parked there even though I'm a customer waiting for food. In the end, I paid over $20 to eat this tasteless, dry croissant sandwich in my car at a local park. They packed no condiments. Worst of all the "avocado" that comes on it is not fresh; it's just a spread that was already oxidized to a half brown-green color. No salt on the potatoes either. Of course no salt packet, hot sauce, ketchup anything to give this sandwich flavor or at least easier to swallow. I would've been better off stopping at a gas station for breakfast. At least I'd get condiments and probably a whole lot less judgment. My advice is to sleep in and wait until the local spots open at 9 or 10. Truly Awful hotel breakfast here
