Closed earlier than usual operating times and doesn't answer phone or door to schedule an appointment or explanation. It's weird and this is the only business in town to help with nails! No wonder it only has 2.3 stars on yelp. read more

Been going to A Kut Above for several years, off and on (moved and came back). Everyone has always been friendly and professional, with a lot of laughter in between. I've had hair cuts and perms. read more

Well for my birthday my husband bought me a 50$ hair cut certificate from them and it was a surprise ok. So a couple days before my birthday a friend of mine like family had an emergency so we were helping them out. My husband gave me the certificate a day after he had scheduled the appt so I had emailed Taylor and she said everything was all good still and we scheduled another appt and she said if something happens and you need to cancel call a couple days a head of time so I'm Dr got some test results in we had been waiting for so I emailed Taylor and she so ok fine just call to reschedule so when I call her boss gets on the phone and starts telling me oh if you miss 1 appt you have to pay for that missed appt and then if you miss another appt you have to pay for the first appt and half of the second. Taylor never said anything like that when I asked to speak to Taylor she got on the phone and said she would call me right back and never did. So now I'm stuck with a 50$ hair certificate that can't be used. Because all of the sudden some one wants to add on a none existing bill that was never agreed on and was never mentioned that's how you treat people that are trying to come in to your shop and who has already paid you. So for my birthday I got a 50 dollar piece of paper and she got paid 50 to scam me just cus I missed a couple appt thanks alot. read more
