I used this company in 2012 to refinish some existing flooring in a two story condo, they sanded…read moredown the existing manufactured floor, stained it a darker color and repaired parts of the floor that had warped / had spacing between planks. Overall the work was done well - I think they forgot to seal one step - but quickly corrected that when I mentioned it. There was a language barrier, but the foreman "Nixon" spoke English and we were able to work with him effectively.

My only real issue was that there was a language barrier wth the workers who did did not speak English very well and one of them kept taking cigarette breaks and just flinging it in front of my home. I should have called him out on it but just let it be. Needless to say by the time they were done there was a filthy accumulation of cigarette butts in front of my home.

Kitchen image is a rare find today. They take pride in their workmanship, have someone who…read morespecializes in each task & back up their work if any issues arise. They did a gut renovation to our kitchen during the pandemic. Which was not an easy task. They transformed our dated galley kitchen into an absolutely beautiful, more functional kitchen. I showed them an idea I had for extra draw storage under the cabinets (kick-toe drawers) & they custom made them for us. There was a manufacturer issue with the cabinets & they contacted them immediately. Then came to our home with someone from the manufacturer to point out the issues & make sure they were resolved. And this was after we paid them in full. Fast forward to today & they came to our home to resolve an issue with one of the cabinet pulls within 24 hours of calling them to explain what happened. Which we truly appreciated because most other companies may not have done that. As I said, they are a rare find.

Firstly, Lisa came to measure my living room, dining room and kitchen. I can't thank her enough for her advice along the entire project. She was professional and made me feel comfortable with her recommendations regarding the new laminate and linoleum floors I wanted. I didn't feel like she was simply trying to "sell" a product or project. The installers, gentlemen all, were professional, respectful to my needs, friendly and punctual with the scheduled appointment time. Efron and Alex did an excellent job laying down my new kitchen linoleum and left the job site spotless. Chago and Bruno also did a great job laying down the laminate flooring in my living and dining rooms. They cleaned up afterwards, left my home spotless and gladly helped me reposition a couple pieces of heavy furniture! Needless to say, I can't be happier with my experience and interaction with Taub Flooring, their employees and products! Again, I want to thank Taub Floors and particularly Lisa!!

At that time, they refinished the wood floors of 2 apartments for me and did an amazing job. I then referred them to my family members and friends who were all very happy with the their work. It's sad there is another review posted that had only 1 start. I did not have such experience and neither did any of my family or friends who used them. They…read morewere the only party with full knowledge of the conditions and the technical expertise to determine where and what type of support - if any- would be required. Despite lengthy email communication and an approved drawing, Creative Habitats never identified or called out any need for brackets. The first countertop cracked, and they blamed the support around our grill. That turned out to be inaccurate. Then they blamed the island's foundation. That also turned out to be inaccurate. At no point did they ever say that the overhangs needed support, despite more site visits. After the first failure, they expressly stated that they would coordinate with the pool contractor (they guy they blamed) before reinstalling the replacement. I provided his contact information for that purpose. That coordination must never have occurred, and this company sent installers again to proceeded with installation even though no brackets were in place. The second countertop cracked under the exact same conditions. Creative Habitats chose to reinstall twice on the same structure. These decisions were negligent and directly caused both failures. This company was supposed to have the expertise and visibility to prevent this outcome, and failed to do so -- twice.
