Curbside pickup is convenient when it works, but there have been a few times we've waited 20 minutes, only to go inside and find our order sitting there, forgotten. The drive-thru can get pretty hectic too, and it sometimes feels like they're short-staffed. We've noticed more mix-ups and cold fries around lunchtime (with curbside), and while they don't usually offer to remake items, when everything does go right, the food is solid for a McDonald's. I don't expect a five-star dining experience here, but a little more consistency would make a big difference. We stopped doing curbside and only go through the drive-through now because they messed up too many times.

On June 10th, when I got the notification for boat club I was immediately disappointed. They are known for being late and disrespectful. But when I got there this employee named Natalie or Natasha. Not 100% sure. But she was so sweet and kind. She made playful remarks to make the room less tense. She made sure that everyone was seen and heard. When other dashers were disrespectful she still had a smile on her face and did what they asked. I ordered a pickup while they were making the bag and if she forgot something or i asked her for something she immediately did it with a smile and kindness. So, just know that if Natalie or Natasha is in. That you will be taken care of!

The antiques, wood floors, attention to all detail and super comfy king bed.....ahhh paradise! The jetted bathtub was the icing on the cake. It's a B&B, breakfast from Brandy's country kitchen. The swimming hole is a man-made spring fed lake. There's a couple diving boards (one is a high dive), a setup net for water volleyball, a BLOB and plenty of extra room for swimming. Plus I was told they are going to add a couple big slides for next year. Beautiful scenery and lots of places to get shade (with tables) for picnics or cooking out. Bathrooms are nice with a small shower (shower could use a little upgrade but it was suffice for its purpose). Friendly owners and staff. Overall great place to spend a summer afternoon. I highly recommend a trip for the family! Tips: bring life jackets if you plan to do the blob. You can not do it without one and they are not provided (although you can purchase one for around $15). Careful walking in the grassy areas...there are stickers. Camping is only aloud for RV's. Daily admission for swimming is $4.50 (free for two and under) and $2.50 to park. AND the park is dog friendly, which is a bonus for many.

The owner is very friendly, and responsive. He really works hard to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The excellent thing is, he screens his renters very carefully and will also address concerns you may have about any questionable activities you may have seen. This makes everyone feel safer and makes for an excellent living location, especially for those with families.
