Didn't receive any contact from Jeffery or anyone from the office until April 28th....10 days after the deadline. Mike called and said he'd need addition information to file the taxes and I provided that. My taxes were filed roughly 2 weeks late which came with some penalties for failure to file on time and interest on what I owed. JCMP and Associates refuses to reimburse me the penalties I received from the IRS for failure to file on time. Best he could do is a credit for next year which means I would have to continue doing business with this company. Do not want that. Why would I hire someone again who failed to do their job on time? And worst of all Mike is lying to me saying he tried to call multiple times before the deadline to get the addition information. I have a call log and voicemails from the first time I was contacted on April 28th asking for that information....10 days after the deadline! Sounds to me like they were too busy and didn't get around to my paperwork in time and refuse to own up to their mistake and pay my penalties

The first year I had Roger do my taxes, the experience was incredible. I came out owing a lot less…read morethan I thought I would. Everyone in the office was extremely nice. Roger took his time to sit down and explain everything to me in detail. The second year, however, was not the same. I sent in my paperwork for my taxes. I had to keep calling to see when it was ready. It took quite awhile. While I know it was a very busy time, keeping me informed would have been helpful. I was finally told they were ready to sign and pickup so I set up an appointment. When I went in, they said I just needed to sign and then pay them their money. I wanted to speak to Roger but they asked me what it was about and when I told them, they said that would be a financial matter and I would need another appointment and to pay for that. What!!! I'm in there about my taxes and have questions regarding it and future taxes but I can't see Roger about that without incurring additional fees? It was very upsetting to be treated like that as a client. I won't be going back there. He charged almost $200 to do a simple return when I could have went to AARP's tax sites and gotten it done for free. It wasn't that complicated. I wont be back again to RR Financial and I do not recommend them.

If I could give this so called tax center 0 stars I would. They rip off senior citizens, with no…read moresense of responsibility or accountability. They made a mistake on a certain senior citizen's tax returns, which was totally their fault. The IRS fined this senior citizen a considerable amount of money, because of an accountant's negligence and not checking his work. Even though it was the accountant's fault, they took no responsibility and made the senior citizen pay the fines, when really they should have paid the total amount from both tax forms. Shame on you. Do Not Go Here for your taxes, unless you want to pay more money than you are responsible for when filing taxes. Only open one day a week, and never answers the phone. Swindlers.
